[/center]HI guys... :star:

thanks for all your support=)

Well,

my story is a little crazy...

I had sent off the entire package back in Dec of 2008, moved in the meantime and had updated my address with USCIS.

I didn't hear back from them for quite a while and I just thought one day' Hey, let's call them, cuz I shouldve gotten something by now'...called and found out that my biometrics appointment was literally THE NEXT DAY :o .

Can you IMAGINE what wouldve happened if I didn't show for the biometrics appointment? :hehe:

So, they faxed me the appoinment letter...went to the support center with my fax...and they wouldn't accept the fax that was sent from USCIS bec my name was misspelled!!! :(
So, had to talk to an immigration officer, got that straightened out...got biometrics taken..

2 weeks later I get another biometrics appointment at a support center closer to my house.
Thought about not worrying about it, but I though' hey, show up, got nothing to lose'
Good thing I showed as the immigration officer explained to me....he had no clue why I had received another letter though and I was free to go.

2 weeks after that I received an RFE due to lack of evidence..and I really didn't send a lot so it was no surprise.

I submitted the RFE and I believe got approved about 3 weeks later.

My entire package of documents included( this is the RFE package)

cover letter

copy of

[*]greencard, my driver's license and my husband's passport [*]creditcard statement in both of our names [*]apartment lease agreement [*]car lease agreement [*]car insurance in both of our names [*]repairs that were done on my car, but addressed to both of us [*]gym membership showing me as the master account holder(I work at a gym haha) [*]life insurance showing my husband as the beneficiary [*]tax returns from 2008 filed jointly [*]3 differenet envelopes addressed ( new address)- to both of us, to me and 1 to him

It's been a little bit of a crazy journey, but it's over now.

Please check my timeline for exact dates.

I wish all of you guys best of luck and just because you got an RFE doesn't mean they won't approve it or will call you in for an interview.

I thought we'd get interviewed for sure due to us not having had an interview for the AOS process- but we didn't.

Please keep in mind, that my case status HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED since Feb of 2009- and that only shows they received my case and that it is pending.

Hope this helped=)
