Eating Cadbury creme eggs is an art form and the following rule is best applied. Put said egg in fridge to ensure chocolate outer is firm and crisp.

Peel back silver paper from top half of egg.

Holding egg in first two fingers and thumb bite the top off the egg. Try to ensure you get a clean break without too much of a ragged edge (this can be achieved by wrapping lips around egg when biting).

Oh my the joy, you now suck gently on the chocolate in mouth letting it melt naturally, any attempt to speed this process should be avoided, one must appreciate the taste and texture of the chocolate slowly.

Once the chocolate at the top is dissolved, we can begin to attack the cream interior.

This can only be achieved utilizing your tongue, again one should savor the moment.

Devour as much cream as is possible.

Then one may nibble the egg down towards the base, again taking care to retain as much of a rounded base as possible.

(I might add this is a skill achieved over many years of consuming this delicacy).

One may after repeating the slow melting in the mouth action of the chocolate sides as previously described, be at a stage to lick out the remnants of the cream nestling in the base.

Once this is achieved.

We can now perform the last action of popping in ones mouth the remaining chocolate egg base.

Then ensure you have another egg nestled in the fridge away from prying eyes at the ready.

I do like Cadbury's Creme Eggs

I've also had a Cadbury Orange Creme Egg too, never saw those in Britain...

I remember having Terry's Chocolate orange egg and spoon eggs from ASDA about 4 or 5 years ago, they came in a egg crate kind of packaging with a little plastic spoon to boot, maybe cadburys couldn't compete to the heavenly goodness those were back in the UK, Im sure Ive seen them in ASDA and TESCOS for the past few years since, another thing to add to the list of mum get me these and store them for us until july list, my suitcase is probably going to be chocker full of hmm guess what..... chocolate LOL
