Hi guys,

When I send in my AOS packet, I included the original I-693 with it. I only had one HPV back then. Now, I will have my interview in May. I was just wondering if we are REQUIRED to get ALL THREE HPV SHOTS??? I didn't follow up with my shot at all so I don't know if that will be a big problem.

Thanks!

...the series only needs to be started in order to be able to apply for AOS. However, at the interview several months later, the IO officer may ask you if you have finished the series. I think it's unlikely that they will, but they may.

http://www.uscis.gov/files/article/FAQ_TB_...ents_072408.pdf

Q: Does USCIS require that all shots in each vaccine series be completed before applying for adjustment of status?

No. The applicant must have received all the required age-appropriate vaccines that could be given at the time of the medical exam. If the applicant has started the vaccination series, but is not able to complete all the required shots because, at the time of the medical exam, the minimum time interval between shots has not passed, the applicant may still apply for adjustment of status. A waiver is available in cases where, due to required time intervals, it was impossible for the applicant to receive all shots in the series before submitting the application for adjustment of status.

You are just required to START the series of the HPV. I only got one and not going to do the other 2.

my husband called a clinic yesterday to ask how much is HPV vaccine. the lady told him that it is $140 per shot. and she's not even sure if the insurance will cover the vaccination fee.

i used to work as a nurse in a vaccination clinic in PI, and my doctor sells HPV vaccine for 2,500 per shot. i'm having regrets why i didn't finish my 3 shots in PI. so if you still have time, have it done there. just make sure that you'll be having a certificate that you are done with your vaccines.

good luck!

A local clinic in the USA will give it to you for free (as it should be for EVERYONE) I got mine for free since my Husband couldn't get his health insurance for me until the enrollment opened again (which is May to June).

You don't need all three, I doubt it would benefit you unless your husband got it as well, when I spoke to my nurse back in Scotland he said it should be available to males .

Hi,

I went to my interview last tuesday and I didn't have the HVP vaccination yet, so I had to go get it the same day, we were told that here in Las Vegas the only place that has it is the Health Department and is $140.00 too.... also the just give it to women between 11 and 26 years old.

It is a 3 dose series, but you just gotta have the 1st one for that day... the 2nd one is 2 months after the 1st one, and the 3rd one is 6 months after the 1st dose.

Hope this info helps!

Good luck!
