LOL Dalegg!! pound for pound your posts make me laugh hard!

Seriously, Matt, take everything anyone posts with a grain of salt. Yes, it is possible, but highly unlikely...the same odds as in any other nation. My timeline suggests that it'll be another 45 days before my interview, making the process over 8 months for me, 2 months more than yours. Personally, I can't stand being away from Nhu for that long, and to add an additional 2 months to that would be akin to torture. I'm not sure how you got through the process with no problems (especially not showing last years tax return - which I thought was a necessity AND IS available...or at least a copy of what you filed) but a lot of people who have waited longer, or caught up in the IMBRA freeze, have a lot of reasons to be bitter and tend to rain on others parades.

Luckily, I don't believe anyone on VJ (and definitely on the VN VJ side) wishes you ill will or wants to see you fail, but we do know what buttons to push to set you off in creating entertaining posts.

Again, don't worry, Anh will be here soon enough and you 2 can begin your life together on your terms and not by those who aren't in your shoes.

And, of course, if you are really worried, you can always go see Mikes fortuneteller!! :D (j/k Mike!)

Medical: She went with her mother to Cho Ray and it was a breeze. Female nurse. No pelvic exam or anything like that. She just had to take her top off, get X-rays and blood tests. It was easy and since her mother was with her and the nurse was female she felt very relaxed.

Icarus, at the time my taxes were not available and I had the IRS letter to prove it. On it was the date they would be available, which was after her interview. That was good enough for the consulate officer. I think he just saw that our relationship was 100% on the level and my making very very good money in 2002 and 2003, plus decent money in 2004 satisfied him.

Please, no one "push any buttons" from here on out. I cannot take it. There is a lot lot LOT going on in life that causes extreme stress beyond this and because of it I am constantly on edge. I hate being like this. Thank God these stressful things should all be taken care of this year.

It's OK, people. I'd love to have her here now or next week, but nothing can change the fact that she cannot come here until at least August 1st. That is the earliest, so if someone out there decides to be a sum sucking jerk, well, we just have to hope that does not happen.

Well, an update. Anh talked to her parents and they paniched about this and said go go go go, so she will be here a lot sooner than first thought.

That's all I will say on this. Best not to reveal exact plans I guess. But she's going to be here very very soon.

I am going to bed now. i need rest. :)

Matt,

Awesome news! We'll see you soon back home man!!!:dance::dance: People tent to share too much on public forum, I was guilty of it... big time! Just say, when I got happy about the something, I overlook that fact that some C.O. from HCMC is reading and participating in debates and discussion on this forum as well. Back when we were on the old server...

In any event, good trip return home Matt...
