Kevin&Loan,

Thanks very much for the encouraging words. I appreciate your interest in our case. While I find our situation unique at the moment, we can't be the first couple to go through the US Consulate in HCMC with the petitioner working in Vietnam.

Hopefully they will find us as one of the "special cases" considered for co-sponsor! I'm not worried about finding another job in the United States. I have an excellent network of people to rely on upon return, and have already started putting some of those contacts in motion.

I just wish there was an easy way to convince the Consulate in HCMC of this!!

STL_HCMC

STL_HCMC, I have a very strong feeling that your case will fly at the Consulate. Do not stress out too much. I know it is easiser to be said than done but you are fine. I have been following your case in here very closely and I know that you will have absolutely no problem. Do not ask me how I know, I just know ... Gut feeling :)
