Hi all

1) I applied for I485,I765 and I 131 in Feb 1st week.

I am not able to track the status of I765 and 131 online. For i485 it says case transferred to CSC

So i called up USCIS and they said EAd takes 90 days.If u dont get it in 90days i can call USCIS and they will issue a temporary card or will check why EAd has not come and will process it sooner

Is this true?So does this mean i m authorized to work after 90 days coz even if i dotn get EAd,USCIS will issue a temp. document?

The reason i m askign is i need to start looking for a job and because the economy is so bad,it can take quite long...If i sure i will get EAd in first week of May990 days) i can start applying now

Please advise

Thanks

you cannot work until authorized to do so (EAD) but looking for work is not work so if you want to start you can... CRIS system is not reliable... have you had all your biometrics?
