Woo hoo Hannah!

And, for us, we found out today that we got transferred to the CSC yesterday. Yay!

(This means no RFEs, right? Probably?)

No. CSC sends out RFEs all the time. That's where an adjudicator goes through your case very carefully and evaluates your income, medical results, etc. But it does mean probably, most likely, almost for SURE you won't have an interview.

Yes Woo hoo to Hannah

If you were to get transferred to CSC but still have an interview, where would said interview be??

oh so even if you get transferred to CSC the interview (if you were to have one) is still at the local office? thanks!

I am assuming that office is also where biometrics is?

Thank you guys for all your congrats, I am soooo tired from all the excitement my brain is turning to mush so i am guuna just go curl up with husband and relax a bit. forgive me for putting of the particulars till later.

as for your biometrics Question John and Mary, all I can say for that is my experience, which was in LA, the biometrics office I was sent to was, an entirely different office building and and area of LA as to where they called us to attend for an interview today. I do not know if this is a standard through out the states and areas or if its just what those who are in my specific locale experience though.

Nighty Night  I have a resume to deal with tomorrow and its not going as smoothly as i wanted it to.

Just got a e-mail that my ead and ap were approved on the 8th which is great only took 34 days and best of all my aos was transfered to California so hopefully no interview for me

Just what I needed as I am not doing so great at the moment with back problems and the x rays were not good today

No interview if CSC gets the case and approves it. But CSC adjudicator could decide somebody needs to check you out in person. So they send back file which then goes to your local Field Office for a face to face interview.

Biometrics and interview are not necessarily in the same place. Biometrics are at an Application Support Center (ACS), while interview offices are the Field Offices. In Houston they are different places, but can't speak for every state and city.

Fantastic :) Seems that the office for the interview will be all the way in Chicago for me (2 1/2 hours away by train), but biometrics will be at an office about an hour away, by car.

Originally I was hoping to have our NOAs by Saturday, but now I will be happy to get them by Saturday of NEXT week. Thats okay though...I just hate not being able to do anything to move this process along!

Wonderful News! Congratulations!

Sorry about your back :( As a long term back pain sufferer I understand not only how physically, but mentally, back pain effects you. I am currently painfree-ish for the first time in 5 months...in March I woke up one day and could barely walk....they think I had slipped a disk the day before (I was gigging and was carrying around heavy equipment) but I had a few vodka's that night and the pain didn't kick in until I tried to get out of bed the next day. I went through physio in the UK which didn't really help...they wanted to CAT scan me, but couldn't get me an appointment before I left the UK. That 9 hour flight was pure hell!!!

Just 2 weeks ago I realised I could walk without any pain and this week was able to go back to the gym. We bought a new bed a month ago (tempur pedic) and from day one I could feel small improvements.

All I have to do now is lose the 15lbs I gained whilst recovering....arrrgggghhh I hate diets and exercise! Speaking of which, I should get my butt down to the gym...before the will leaves me. :)

Hang in there.

So sorry to hear Shaz your back is still giving you problems. How do the doctors want to proceed with your treatment? Didin't they fuse your vertebraes when they removed the disks the last time? I'm so sorry you are in pain. I hope the pain eases soon as it never goes away completely (unfortunatelly).

On the positive side, YAY for transfer and all the approvals!!!!:dance: And all you wanted was the AP and the transfer and look at you now girl, you've got all three!!! So happy for you.

Thanks so much Ellie

You poor thing. I can only imagine how cruddy you feel at the moment. Terrible backpain is like toothache. It doesn't matter how many meds you take, or how you sit or lie....there is never an escape, it plagues you all the time. I walked like I was severely constipated for months...and for about a month people thought I was playing it up....and then I didn't stop walking like John Wayne and they caught on...I wasn't faking it!

I was scared shi*less that I was going to become reliant on the drugs they gave me and I resented having to put powerful painkillers in my body just so that I could get out of a chair and sit on the toilet without crying in agony! Just basic things!

Thinking of you sweets. I hope you can get some relief soon and have this sorted. Unless you have been affected with long term with backpain, I dont think anyone can contemplate just how much it effects every single aspect of your life.

You deserved some good news....and I'm glad you got some. Hoping the next set of good news concerns your recovery.

I'm sorry to hear about your back problems, Shaz. I've been lucky enough not to experience that pain but my mother also had crippling back pain. She used to ask me to help her get her legs into the bath because of the strain, and a hot water bottle scolding her back was actually a relief. It really does decrease your quality of life. I hope you get something that helps from the doctors.

Thanks hon

Just got back from the docs and he has said treatment will be around 6 weeks even with health insurance it is going to Cost well over $500 but will be worth it to be out of pain

I found that the reflief from a heat pad was good but after the paing was worse I am now only allowed ice so I walk around with a freezer block down the back of my pants all the time and that is helping, and the hubby has been amazing, hopefully things will have improved by the time I am back at the docs on Monday
