I saw the Whitesnake/Priest gig last month - awesome. I was thinking of seeing Slayer when they get here, but I'm really not prepared to sit through all the ####### that's on before them.

ahhhhhhhhhhh firefox updated and deleted all my saved loggins and passwords, so now not only do i have to type the whole things out i can't bloody remember what my password was for uscis and its set upto vitos email so i can't hit remind me till hes home.

OK got some news to share!!!!! :dance:

Well Hubby comes in from work apre 3pm, as i am working on dinner for tonight. Hes brought up the post, and as you all know about my story so far, you can expect i wasn't expecting anything pour moi as they seemed to have forgotten me again as its been very quiet on all fronts and i had to remind them about sending me my bio appointment.

Well would you believe i had mail and it was uscis? So i am thinking its most probably an rfe for the missing noa2 or perhaps a notice of where they have most recently stuck my file (last time i checked it was at the nbc) but it would be extremely great if it was my ead approval of ap approval of which i had been wondering when was coming as everyone else who filed when i did has theirs already!!

but no it was wait for it ............a request for applicant to appear at initial interview for Form i-485 ...yadayada (aos) on the 9th sept 09 at 7:15 am. guess hubby will have to take the day off work them :dance: :dance:

We are over the moon but really surprised . i have had no other correspondence from them since the bio notice and service request response for said bio appointment.

Should it not say its been transferred to a local office now? and where does this leave the ap and ead?

I just got my notice for the appointment on the 2nd September but since I have nothing better to do, I was wondering if I can just walk in (heck of a long walk but it might be worth it ;-))?

it depends there are some offices that are know to turn away walkins like atlanta for instance and some that are set up for such instances at certain times, however its not guaranteed and also there have prob been accounts of successful walkins at almost all offices, if its close enough to not be way out of your way then try it, but be prepared for either outcome. i went and it happened to be really quiet that day so they said they could help me. pehaps try and workout a time and day that will have least traffic.

if there are specific hours it should state so on your notice in same place it tell you how to reschedule if you need to.

Great news Hannah. 09/09/09 will be a big day for you.

Don't know the answers to your questions since we didn't get an interview letter or transfer to local office notification. Your EAD and AP process at different locations so they could be coming. If you get the green card first, then you don't need them at all.

Thanks, Hannah. It's not a big deal as after all the original appointment is 3 weeks away. Hopefully there are no penalties if you are turned away and asked to wait for your designated time?!

Hannah, one things for sure: that's a super-fast interview appointment! Most of the folks on the May filers forum are only just getting those. And unless I'm very much mistaken, once you've gotten an interview date, then the case isn't transfered to CSC becuase it's already been dealt with (disclaimer: I stand to be corrected on that!)

I think I've just been usurped from my, "on deck" position in the UK AOS thread approval race.

Thanks Guys! We are so happy but a fair bit suprised, not that I will be having an interview I sort of expected it because of our missing noa2. but more because we had given up expecting anything to happen in a timely manor, but this is great! :dance:

I DON'T BLOODY BELEIVE THIS!!! Just checked my cases online right and bearing in mind my great news yesterday and how i said online nothing had changed or updated and i asked about where this leaves the ead and ap???

Both touched today!! no change of last touch or anything on aos but i got interview letter so who cares.

OK so I have these things for what a grand total of three weeks max? I am assuming it will take a week no lest or more to get here which is prob expecting too much and then they will take them off me at interview if not approved? these people make my mind boggle!

ok so if i go get my provisional dl with ead i know the licence runs out when ead does but do i have to go and change it as soon as i am approved? i mean is there a point of me trying to start learning as soon as i get my ead if interview isnt too far off?
