Hewwo guys!

Sorry to hear that you're running into snags, Hannah, but like other snags, you'll conquer them -- but conquering might be too good or dramatic for a snag, so you might just de-snag the snag...

Also, congrats on NOA1, Kat&Allie!

Filed my AOS paperwork, so looks like I might be an August filer too (if they get back to me within the month). Miss G, I only had to go for a medical because I hadn't had my HPV vaccination done, so I had to take my paperwork, get the shot, and had a civil surgeon fill it out. I didn't have to deal with a cheque for the medical because they let me pay there right after it was done.

They better notice the paperclips for my documents! I lost count of how many coversheets I used.

Magpie.

Thanks Magpie! i hope so too. :innocent:

Added. Looks like we have a horse race between the Magpie, the Monkey and the Nox who all sent theirs in this week. First one to a green card wins a jar of Marmite.

I'm off to Home Depot then to work on house projects at the new house so we can eventually move in, then wait for Shaz and Daymo to arrive in the Winnebago. woohoo

:D I want shiny things instead of Marmite, pwease! Thankums!

I sent mine off on the Thursday, but because I'm in the Alaska, it's probably going to take me a bit longer to hear back from Chicago. I sent it with the 3-5 day service so goodness knows when it'll get there.

:D Also guys, I'm opening up the middle name thing again (for those of you who remember). Some of you had some gorgeous suggestions so throw them at me again -- turns out that Diane's middle name is Marie, and then Knight's mother's name is Marie (or something to that effect), and then...

This also means that Knight can't stoically stand by Maria :P and thus will be more open to other names. Yes, it's my name, but having his approval would be nice. If I come across a name I REALLY like, there's no stopping me :D.

I did some looking up of people on the spreadsheet and found several who had been approved, but not reported here, so I updated those. It looks like Damian is on deck to be the next approval from the our list. There's a couple of older applications --one an RFE at the interview. I added reason to the notes column. Another has been inactive on VJ for awhile.

I also added a column to calculate the number of days from Transfer to CSC until approval. As with everything else in AOS, it varies alot. But when somebody asks "how long did it take for ya'll to get approved after you were transferred" we can tell them they can see everybody's data in one place.

Got to sort out the Winnebago trip with Daymo

I was thinking about this, actually, and I may have a plan. See, me and 'er indoors really want to go see New Orleans, which is basicaly a straight shot (albeit of a 10 hour duration) down I-55 South. Looking at the map, from New Orleans to Houston is a very similar straight shot (5-and-a-half hours) along I-10 West, so we could easily drop in. From there, it's another incredibly easy straight shot up I-45 North to Arlington, meaning we could check out Shaz and Todd's place, and then head home along via US 69, US 75, and I-44 East. This country may be huge, but it's incredibly easy to navigate!

It looks like Damian is on deck to be the next approval from the our list.

I was thinking pretty much the same thing. I've been checking the May filers forum, and the first of those that did not have to go through an interveiw has had the "card production ordered" email. And she received NOA 2 days later than I did. So fingers crossed, any day now.
