Congratulations Talyss :star:

You don't even need AP and EAD since you'll have your GC so quickly.

And BTW, I had a very brief message from Shaz that she did indeed arrive, but the internet isn't working properly so she's stealing it from a wireless connection in the neighborhood, but it barely works so she's basically not online yet.

congrats to everyone!

Here's hoping that the rest of us get ours just as quickly!

Still no online case status for the EAD. It keeps saying it doesn't exist, so i might call in to check on it this week. No RFE in the mail so that's a good thing!

AOS has been touched a couple times last week, so hopefully that's good and not bad :P

Oh, and Sarah's picked up our traffic laws book for Ohio! Hopefully we can get her license soon!

Rocks you have your AP in hand? I think you would have to make an Infopass appointment. I would definitely not travel using it . (which sounds like you wouldnt atleast before getting it changed. The only problem is since it was your mistake (and not USCIS) I wonder if you would have to pay another fee.

On another note, I have been trying to add my I 485 to my USCIS account alongside my I129f but I cant find anywhere that allws me to add the case to my portfolio, hmmm.

we filled out the i-131 advanced parole papers so that maybe my husband can go back and visit his family some time soon---

Nich very kindly put this up a few pages back (I used it).

"Statement of circumstances that warrant issuance of advance parole stapled to the end of the I-131. Something like this:

I-131, Application for Travel Document, Part 7

Statement of circumstances that warrant issuance of advance parole

I wish to apply for advance parole and obtain the necessary permission to travel to my home country prior to receipt of permanent residency status in the event of emergency or family illness. I do not have any specific plans to travel at this time.

This is what mine said.

Part 7.

I qualify for an Advance Parole document because I entered the USA on a K1 visa and have submitted an I-485 to adjust my status.

I would like an Advance Parole document so that I may visit my family in the UK whilst awaiting my Adjustment of Status application to be adjudicated.

I think I got it from an example somewhere here on VJ.

On your portfolio it should come up with a line just underneath - To add a case to your portfolio click here

To remove a case from your portfolio, check the box to the left of the application receipt number and click the "Remove" button

When you click on the add a case it should allow you to put in the MSC number?? It took me a while as it kept coming up with case number not recognised.

Thanks! I swear that button wasn't there until you pointed it out :P. TO be honest I rarely check the USCIS site, but it is nice to see a date there. My AP and EAD still aren't in there though, I guess I will just have to be surprised by those, at least my I-485 is.

Well, I am not one of you all UK AOS'ers yet... but i had a q about transcribing the DS3025 onto I-693 by Dr. Arnold's services.

My fiance did not ask for any vaccinations at Knightsbridge and neither did he get them done with his GP because his GP was a pain in the ####### to deal with...so we decided to leave them for AOS here in the USA. So I know that his Knightsbridge medical is valid for 12 months from the date of the medical, but is it possible to get Dr. Arnold to transcribe the DS3025 AS WELL AS records of his required vaccinations done by a primary physician here in the USA(not a CS) both onto the I-693? Or do the vaccinations have to already be on the DS3025 from the Knightsbridge medical in order for Dr. Arnold to transcribe it all on the I-693?

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

Marm I have seen posts by others going through AOS who used Dr Arnold to do their I-693s after having additional vaccines in the US, so I think the answer is yes he will do it.
