Some G-325A questions

Just some quick questions, we're about to send our package off this next week and want to do it right.

For the G-325A, the description of how we met... does it have to be an attachment, and how much detail do we have to go into?

We have just used the box supplied on the form itself and said very simply that we met online and then after talking for a while met in person on xxx date and spent 3 months together.. and that's all we put. Is that sufficient?

The VJ guide says this, and the example form says to attach as well, so we want to confirm.

"4. Declaration of how you met in person in the last two years. This should be a single typed page attachment regarding question 18 of the I-129F. Make sure to sign and date it."

Also on the G-325A

If you have lived in more residences than the form has room for and need to use an attachment.. should you either

a) Use all of the slots the form supplies, and then add an attachment AS WELL for the rest of the residences.

or B) State straight away on the form to see the attachment and list ALL of the residences on the attachment.

and one more question for ALL forms.. is it ok to use CAPS for every question.. I noticed on the example that some things were in caps and some weren't. can we just caps everywhere to be sure?

thanks,

kgo

Yes.

Only a suggestion based on past experiences.

Also on the G-325A

I would go with A.

and one more question for ALL forms.. is it ok to use CAPS for every question.. I noticed on the example that some things were in caps and some weren't. can we just caps everywhere to be sure?

Unless it specifies to use CAPS for the answers, do not use caps.

thanks,

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I was curious about this, because in the example forms the last name at the top and bottom is shown typed in caps, but the rest of the form is not.. yet I don't see where it states to type the last name (or anything) in caps.. bit confusing heh

Some forms, like the I-129F specify that the "Family name (last)" is to be in caps, so some people carry it over to other forms.

As brief as I was, I couldn't fit it in the box so I added an attachment. Just make sure it includes the date and place and you should be fine.

You could do either for the G-325a for addresses, just make sure to give FOUR copies of any attachment, I guess we do not pay enough taxes for the USCIS to lease a copy machine and the G-325a is a four part form.
