NVC received my 129 and 130 March 30 and the 129 was sent to the embassy already but every time I call about the 130 they tell me that they have it but it's not on the system. Do you think they're going to hold off on the 130 since they already sent the 129 to the embassy?

I don't think that can happen. I also had both 129 and 130 approved in the same day.

I think you will get your NVC case number soon, just keep calling, if they have it they are gonna process it.

When your case completes both files should be sent to NVC. The I-129F only stays there long enough to get an case number assigned and then it is sent to the embassy who take care of the K-3 stuff (sending out hte next packet, you send requested list and forms back to them and they schedule the K-3 interview). CR-1 cases also go to NVC and are given a case number. Mine took about 3 days but I hear now it is taking longer and coudl even be a 2-3 weeks. After the sace number, follow the Wiki Shortcuts to speed your case through NVC. Even when you case is completed, the file will stay at NVC until NVC assigns the CR-1 interview. Only then the case is physically transfered to your embassy. Hope that helps.

NVC is really slow at assigning case numbera right now..I know of another VJ member who waited almost 2 weeks for the Case numbers to be assigned.

NVC is going Green and doing everything by email as of March and as a result the process is really slow as there are a lot of glitches with their automated EMAIL system.

It took NVC 10days to generate my DS3032

Just give it a week or 2 then try calling back for the case number. They just have to enter the info into the system.
