Well I finally Fed-Ex'ed my AOS and AP papers to Chicago today and I'm a nervous wreck thinking I might have missed something. I just about got poor Bruce (hubby) drove clean off his head......but he is such a dear patient man that he would never let on

Here is the check list......I was going to put it on here before I sent them but you know how it is!!! :P

Don't worry!

There's like 4 different outcomes.

1. You screwed up and they send the whole package back to you.

2. You screwed up and they send you an RFE.

3. Everything's normal and they send you an interview notice after biometrics. :innocent:

4. They think you're just peachy and send it off to CSC for another (no interview) aos freebie..

Outside of that... what else could they do?

Oh yeah... the whole system could screw up and they put you into deportation proceedings.

rotflmao... Just KIDDING!

Best of luck. I'm sure you covered the bases.

I must've thrown away 40 sheets of printed out 485's 325's pdfs etc... with errors that my wife qc'd for me (that I couldn't believe I missed.. who me???). Good thing I was the only one screwing it up!

haha! :luv:

LOL..........great sense of humour there........I love it!!!!

You covered all the bases there and you're right!!! Thanks I needed a good laugh!! We worry about the most mudane things!!!

But I really do want to go home and see my family. I miss them so much and it breaks my husband 's heart that I can't see my grandchildren, when they were used to seeing me every day of their lives!! But on the plus side I wouldn't trade my Husband for anything. I always tell him.........

"If I was back home without you, I'd be miserable........so I might as well be miserable here with you!!"........He gets a great kick out of that.

Thanks again for the laughter................{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}.......Joan

Your frustration sounds much like mine.

I got so angry every time my wife found a stupid error... like the year of her birth, or mis-spelling of her maiden name... damn, I've done it a million times over the last 5 years why now??? And who am I supposed to get angry at? Her? (I really bit my tongue!!!!) (How much can one hate themselves for trying to do everything perfect but yet screw up the most basic things???).

And then after everything was just perfect... (yeah right)...

They sent the whole package back because I screwed up the fees.

Turns out I forgot to include my son's I-485 too!

Humility at it's finest. I surrender.

OP, it says G-325, but I am assuming you meant it as the G-325A's...??

Just wondering, rushter said it well so I have nothing more to add lol.

Yes, Stina, I meant G325A...........hoping that won't be a screw-up because I put G325 on the cover letter!! They can be so touchy (in my country that means "babish [as in baby, not bab  )

And yes, we attached Bruce's tax papers to the Affadavit of Support (hopefully they won't be 'touchy' over that too, becaue I didn't put it on the cover letter)

Excuse me while I have a nervous break down

You people are wonderful  .............{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}} Joan

LOL  You got it back in spades, I'd say!! But admiting it is the great part!! I'm sure your wife forgave you!

This whole process is mind boggling!! I only live an hour and a half from my country, Canada, and we can't even go for a Sunday drive over there. Really ticks me off!! Especially Canada Day is next Saturday and I would dearly love to celebrate over the border and then celebrate July 4 here with my husband (L) . I understand all the paperwork except the Advance Parole........makes me feel like a criminal!! What difference does it make if I want to visit my family and come back to my husband. Any body got any answers to that one?? And saying that I will forfeit my K1 is not an answer  ..........I need a reason...........maybe I or somebody should start a thread about it.

Thanks for everything, my new found friends. It seems we're all in this together. Good luck.................{{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}..........Joan
