Hello everyone!

Well my girl had her interview tuesday morning and i flew in to be there,And all this talk about this new

guy being not nice was not true with us.We actually found him to be nice and funny and made my girl

very comfortable. And even though he said all of our paper work was great no problems the problem

is with her daughter by a jerk of a american running around planting his seed where he may!! He even

had them call her later in the day to come back and talk more about daughter,,We went to u.s side

of embassy to talk with a very nice lady named jen and she told us what we have to do.Hopefully we can find father and get done ..They said come back and they give us the visa.So we happy with the way things went

we knew had a problem with daughter but feel good all none the less...We seen some girls that lied and got caught there so please dont lie they know everything really!!!

p.s maybe think twice about bringing home any dried or add water food !!! i brought some back to keep

here at house till she gets here and wowwwwwwww did customs love me i guess they thought i was bringing drugs

in and had a long wait explaining what it was and what all toys i brought back for daughters show and tell.

why i was there only 5 days where i had been ,,they even want to know where i meet her when,,where etc.

made a nice time after 28hours flying,,, just a thought

chris

Congrats, paintbrush! :D

I have some questions about the USEM in Bangkok. We're doing a CR-1 and are currently waiting for our interview date. Just got case complete the other day. How long do you think before we get a date?

Also, what questions do they ask at the pre-screening? How long is it? What do they ask at the actual interview and for how long? Do they interview both of you? Are the questions practically the same regardless if it's K1, K3 or CR-1/IR-1?

If they read emails and stuff, how many pages of emails and chats do they like to see? Is it okay to bring a photo album instead of just pictures?

I'm assuming one turns over all the evidences during the pre-screening, then they call you and review the items in front of you during the interview?

Is there a fee for the actual CR-1 visa (besides the IV fee paid during NVC)?

hello a0 cons

sorry this is first time for us too ,i dont know anything about cr-1 i know our last package came and we sent

back and about 2 weeks we got interview date and phone call.the interview quetions seem to be different for everybody they ask the basic where ,we met ,when and how long ago, they ask her questions about me where work live etc.it lasted about 45 mintues..who knows how many e-mails etc are enough? i would put everything you got in there ,if its 500 put it in there the more the better..if you meet fiancial reg, etc they are at the interview

stage asking you to prove your relationship the most, and to clear up and any questions they might have i think they already go over files weeks before interview and have a idea how they will judge before you get there.

we brought photo album..i dont know about fees other than the fees for 129f

good luck to you both chris

There's no fee for CR-1 at the embassy. You paid it to NVC already. After your case is complete, the only things you have left are the medical and the interview.

Also, that guy was a total a$$ to my wife and many other people here. Maybe he got laid the night before.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

Thanks paintbrush, we've been going over about 30 possible questions regularly so I think we'll be alright. I'm just getting nervous IDK with this new guy and all the mixed reviews. Hopefully he takes a trip out to Soi Cowboy tuesday night and takes a load off lol.
