If you are here for four noths you have a "conditional" permanent residency. It is conditioned on remaning married to the peitioner for two years or more until you the conditions are lifted. It was the agreement you both made with the government. If you do not remain married to the petitioner until conditions are lifted, the agreement is not satisfied and ytou must return to your country.

How long were you married before you arrived in the U.S., and when does your green card expire? If you were married for at least two years before arrival, you should have a 10-year green card. If you have a two-year conditional card and your wife divorces you, you can try to remove conditions on your own, but you will need to prove that the marriage was entered into in good faith and not solely for the purpose of immigration.

08/08/2009........Filed for removal of conditions.

12/16/2009........ROC was approved.

11/05/2010........Eligible for Naturalization.

03/01/2011........Separated.

11/05/2012........Eligible for Naturalization.
