30 days over processing times?

Well, I think, I am now 30 days over processing times now that the processing dates for CSC have changed again. I decided to email CSC again and ask them to investigate my case as to why I am still under the standard security checks and nothing is happening in my case. I got the same exact answer as I have been getting for the past 2 months. I just don't understand this?????? I don't know why this is taking so long for us. Neither one of us have common names, and neither one of us have ever been in any kind of trouble or been arrested. This is the response I got today....

The petition is undergoing security checks as required of all

applications and petitions. There is no time limit to this processing.

Please inquire again in 45 days to allow time for some type of action to

occur.

I waited 6 months and thats all i got from them, crappy answers, that was until Steve got his congressman involved, a week later we where approved.

September 15 - 2005: NOA1

October: Waiting

November: Waiting

December: In Security checks

January 2006: Waiting

February: Waiting..Contacted Congress

March 4th: APPROVED

March 17th: NVC posted file to London

March 20th: London Receives file

March 29th: Receive package 3

April 13th: London Receives package

April 19th: Medical - June 13th: INTERVIEW......APPROVED!!!!

June 20th: ARRIVE IN USA

Time taken for whole process 9 Months

November 14th: Snail mail ~ NOA1 ~ Case moved to the CSC for faster processing.

January 22nd: Green card arrives in the mail:))

Time taken for AOS - 3.5 Months

Finished for 2 years.

When the answer is "you´re going through security checks" it usually means you´ve fallen into the waiting limbo. Sorry.

Same thing happened to us-look at my timeline. It happens-it isn't fair but there is nothing we can do about it. We waited 90 days for the noa2-while some people that filed MONTHS after us have already had interviews and now have their visas. I am still waiting for my man to have his interview in Dublin.

I am pissed off too-believe me but unfortunately-it is a waiting game. You will hear good news soon (F)

we were told at USCIS that we were in "security checks" and we got approved shortly after that-it didn't take 6 months even though they said it could.

ugh that is ridiculous. it says feb 15 as the date they are processing at now. it hasn't been 30 days yet. it would be 30 days when it hits feb 23 for you hun. tomorrow marks 5 months since the noa1 for me. its really disheartening but like you i WONT give up. I just may go bald from pulling my hair out in the meantime lol :lol:
