We have our interivew date at the USEM Manila set for the end of May. Our file is a k1 and k2 visa but we plan for the k2 to follow on after a year. My question is do we submit the k2's application and payment now? Do we also have his medical done now or do we wait a later time closer to the date he will follow on. Basicly what do we do now and what should we wait to do?

anybody have any info?

I would ask the consulate, but my guess is DO NOT apply until you are ready for the visas to be issued

YMMV

If ther is ANY way possible bring the kid with you. It's VERY difficult to have them follow later. If you can't have your child take the medical and interview with you.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

We are doing the same, I should say, HAVE done the same. On your DS-156K list the child as "follow to join" and that is all. He does not need medical, visa application or anything now, but he will later. Verify woth the consulate as my experience is with the Kiev consulate and Manilla may have different rules
