You must be quicker, press 3 immediately after the computer answers, if you wait for the computer to say press 3 for English, it is too late.

I nearly asked this question myself when I tried it once more and got it to work.

Wait until the tagalog prompt is finished then the english prompt follows. Thats what happened to us.
