bringing baby to the US

My husband is USC. I came to the US by K1 and I am now under AOS, waiting for GC interview.

I am now pregnant.

My question is, if I deliver our baby outside of the US (I will use advance parole for that), what should we do to take the baby back here? We plan to take it back 2 months after it is born.

A tourist visa? (but in this case it is not admitted to the US as an immigrant)

N-600K?

How long will the process take?

Thanks in advance.

Hi I gave birth outside the US but was able to bring my newborn with me when i came back here in the US. You can read my posts about this or read about COnsular Report of Birth Abroad. Congrats by the way.

You need to report the birth to the nearest US embassy and get a US passport for the baby.
