I-485 Still Not Online!!!!

My AOS application package was received on 01-15-2009 at Chicago Lockbox but till this day I am unable to see it online. Its been more than 2 1/2 months. The case is at MSC. What should I do. I can view my I-130/I-131/I-765 though. Shouldn't take this long to upload a case. Any advice?

Yes Payxibka. I actually had Biometrics twice . Once on 03-10-2009 and then again on 03-24-2009. Due to a computer glitch they sent me the Bio Appointment twice. Didn't want to risk a no-show for the second date since they said they won't give me in writing that it was a computer error. I just showed up again and re-did the whole thing. Was no harm in it, was it? Since then no touches on the I-765 or I-131. I try to check if my I-485 has been uploaded, everyday. What do you suggest?

Please keep me posted as to what happens. We sent our I-130/I-765/I-485 Feb 27 2009. Got our NOA's March 7 2009.

Only the 130 & 765 show on-line. We got my husbands appt letter for biometrics March 13 2009, for appt date March 27 2009. We went appt went very smooth, nothing has shown on-line as touched & the 485 still does not show on-line.

Hey just wanted to let you know that I called USCIS yesterday, the people there were very helpful. The lady I spoke with said that the 485 receipt number is valid, just doesn't show up online (which she stated is normal). She said they are just now processing the 485 received in June 2008, so that gives us some sort of time frame to apply to our receipt dates and she states that we are within the normal processing time. She checked my 130, said the same for that however they are processing those that were received in October 2008 currently. She was kind enough to check my husbands 765, and that usual takes 75 days from date they received (date on NOA), but I got a little good news, ours is on an desk being reviewed for processing .

I got a little worried and decided to call. Got so much good info I thought it might help you (and anyone else who follows this posting)

Kittykisses73: Thank you for sharing the info. Mine is still Status Quo. I-485 not online yet. For me, its almost been 73 days since I sent the AOS package. Am surprised to know that USCIS operators have that much detailed info about our cases, since they seem to be outsourced operators and dont have access to actual files(So I Have heard). But its indeed good news. I sent in my I-130 on November, so I should be just round the corner on that one unless they tie it to the I-485.

I was planning on calling CRIS today to find out about my EAD. If I hear something worth sharing, I will definetely post it here for your info. Do keep me updated on your case. So Shall I. I hope your husbands I-765 comes through soon.

Following your steps, I called CRIS and the Officer after checking my I-485 application told me that even though my case is not online for my viewing, it is still being processed and added that he can tell me that the file has received my Fingerprints. I guess the biometrics went through. Don't know what that means. I guess, I should be hearing from them regarding my EAD atleast.

I am glad to have been a little help to you. I know going thru this process & not knowing what to expect is a major stress factor that no one needs. Please let me know how things are going for you two. It seems as though our timelines are pretty close & it's nice to get a heads up on what is happening. We have been very fortunate to have had a pretty smooth process so far & the people have been super helpful & kind. I will continue to post here as things progress. So kitty you got the recipt numbers begining with EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC with NOA 1 only. Mine are begining with MSC so I am itting ere still without being able to chewck anythingonline. Your answer wd be appreciated. Thanks /

I wd be glad to help. Under ur account in 'About Me' tab .... click on Edit my Signature. It wd give you a word editor to write your things. Write something like Me or Saspak and upload it . This timeline wd then come up with any reply you give in any post.
