My dear husband is planning to come with me for moral support. He is being very nice about it athough I know he hates being idle. A laptop might be pushing it, but can he at least bring a cellphone?

Sorry, but cell phone use is not allowed in the waiting room. The guards at the Denver office are usually pretty laid back, but they had a zero tolerance policy regarding cell phone use.

Do we have to leave the cellphone in the car or can we just turn it off?

What about IPods/ITouch? Magazines? Books?

Now that I completed the journey and am a U.S Citizen, I logged into the USCIS Status Check website and it still says what it says from Day 1:

On April 6, 2009, we received this N400 APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case

wifey, if it helps any when I was at my infopass appointment in the Atlanta USCIS no one was using cell phones in the waiting room but in the restroom there was a girl having a long and involved conversation on her cell phone, so maybe he can use the restroom a lot :).

WOW!!! Naturalization applications are being processed very quickly now.

My whole Naturalization process took a year to complete!!!!

I send in my daughter's N-400 in November, 2010.... hopefully, it'll still be moving as fast at that time.

Well I thought 1 year was a long time lol..

Alot of us are getting FASTTT processing (like me), 3 months 26 days from N-400 Sent in to Oath.

Thanks, Kathryn. We mostly use the cellphone for surfing the web - reading news, sports, etc. We'll just bring magazines or newspapers. I'd be needing those too. I need to take my mind off the interview while waiting or else I'll be so stressed during the interview.

But we don't have to leave the phones in the car, right? We can just turn it off when we enter the building? It's a loooonng walk from the parking lot to Los Angeles DO..

I found the CD and I played it in random mode in my drive to work. I think I can make the 6 correct answers. I don't think I can finish the booklet though. I fell asleep on page 3 last night. :)
