I just tried calling USCIS- the woman refused to escalate the call to an immigration officer and said that they can't do that until I have been waiting 7 months - GRRR! The last date of action on my file is May 4th - not even information about biometrics. I need to make an Infopass appointment if I want to speak to someone who actually knows anything. I 'thanked' her for lack of assistance.

Please let me how to reach customer service rep on 1-800 number When I called 1-800 , it did not have an option to connect to Customer representative. Do I have to go through address update option in order to connect to CR? Is there any other way to connect to CR.

At last - received my interview letter today - interview is at 1:05 - don't know if it will be in time for same day oath ceremony or not ...

Congrats, Kathryn - that's good news! :star:

I've read somewhere that the interview has to be successfully completed by 1:30 p.m. to qualify for a same day oath ceremony (but I'm not sure if my memory is correct ... :unsure: ). If you have your turn punctually you might just scrape through. Let's hope for it.

I don't remember the numbers now, but when you call it gives you the option of if you have a case filed. I selected that one. It then asked for the number which I entered in using the phone pad; I don't remember which order it went but it asked if you have a problem or if you case is out of processing date - I selected that option and got put on hold for a representative - who was next to useless (VBG). You might want to try the advice Mr. Puff Bunny gave in post #541 (back one page) in this thread - it not only gets you to a representative, it gets you escalated to an actual immigration officer who might be able to help you. When u call, go for option 1, 2, 3 in that order to talk to a cust service rep, tell'em u have filed in April and u still don't have a receipt number, don't tell em anything else. They will escalate u to someone who actually knows something. Good luck.

Did they tell you right there when your Oath would be? (Your not in West Kendall right?), Because my IO said I'd probably be the 15th as well....

Congrats sleepbear, how come u have an oath date and kromix doesn't :blink: ? ah the inconsistency of uscis.. updating timeline.. received the interview letter yesterday..RDan, hope u get yours this week since you are the only one left...
