06/03/2009 - Received Yellow Letter requesting to bring Driver's License

07/02/2009 - Interview Date *APPROVED*

07/10/2009 - Oath Letter Sent Out from USCIS

07/14/2009 - Oath Appointment Letter Received

07/27/2009 - Oath Ceremony Date *COMPLETE, NOW A U.S CITIZEN!!*

In a bizarre twist, I received a "case status review" letter today. I thought most people get it BEFORE their interview letter, lol. This is three days IN A ROW getting letters from USCIS. So weird... :whistle:

February 13, 2006: I-130 filed (US Embassy, Dublin, Ireland).

April 18, 2006: Interview date received.

May 02, 2006: Interview (US Embassy, Dublin, Ireland). Visa approved.

June 14, 2006: Moved to Charlotte, NC.

July 20, 2006: 'Welcome to the United States' letter received.

July 21, 2006: Applied for SSN.

July 29, 2006: SSN received.

September 05, 2006: 2 year Permanent Resident card received.

I-751

April 09, 2008: Mailed I-751 to TSC.

April 15, 2008: Check cashed.

April 16, 2008: Case transferred to VSC.

April 23, 2008: Biometrics appointment letter received.

May 10, 2008: Biometrics appointment.

June 28, 2008: Moved to Clearwater, FL (Filed AR-11 and I-865).

March 04,2009: 10 year Permanent Resident card production ordered.

March 13,2009: 10 year Permanent Resident card received.

Wow. I got my interview letter yesterday...it is on 07/28/2009 - 2 days before I leave for my trip. I will be in KC for my cousin's wedding on July 26th...so this is very convenient. This means I don't have to send in a letter to deschedule & reschedule my interview as I was 99% sure the interview was going to be in the month of August.

Now, can anybody advise if there is any restriction on travel after the interview ? I'm sure I will be back by the oath ceremony - besides I also have a name change request. I wouldn't have to submit my passport at the interview, do I ? This is all very exciting.

For those of you who got interview appointments, is there any change in your online status? Did the "last updated" date change at all? Just wondering if there's any way to predict if a letter is on the way...

Thanks for the info, MsAnn! I guess we have no way of knowing then, if anything was already scheduled. We're leaving for vacation tomorrow and it will be so nice if we find a letter from USCIS waiting for us when we get back. If nothing shows up by the end of the month.. I guess it'll be time to call the 1-800 number and start an inquiry.

Likewise. My online status never changed. I have noticed posts from others on other threads that already have their citizenship and their online status continues to say case received and pending.
