Update - Received yellow letter today asking me to bring: "All passports and travel documents (including expired and current) issued to you by any government". That is all... crossing fingers for interview letter soon. Ancie 78 good luck on the upcoming interview and may god give you a healthy and adorable little one :D

Puffy - I haven't received anything yet yellow letter or interview letter from USCIS. Where do you bring all those docs to? What does it say in the letter if it's not the interview letter? It just doesn't make sense to me. Are those passport/docs required by USCIS before they schedule an appoint?

The big day is Tuesday and I'm becoming really nervous. . . Of course, the "good" car is in the shop and we have to take the other vehicle for this long drive. . . I just hope I don't mess up the test and my documents are sufficient (I sent tons of stuff with my application and now will have to go back and take the originals.)

nice to see the grid filll up with interview dates! Sorry I have been inactive, waiting for my baby, she was due on Wednesday but still has not made her debut just yet, let's hope she will come on time for me to go to my interview on the 22nd, geez, what eventful times!!

Good luck to GermanInDixie for her interview on the 16th, first one for April, tell us how it went!

Hey RDan, the yellow letter is a standard procedure as far as i know, it just tells you a checklist of items to bring on the date of the interview. The first line in the letter reads:

"Case File Review notice / Interview documents checklist" and it goes on to say:

"After complete review of your application for naturalization, this office has determined that additional documents might be required during your naturalization interview" blablalba ... In my case they are only asking about passports/travel documents (even though i know i will bring a dictionary worth of documents/proofs of what not eh :) )...it also says to dress properly for the interview and to be sure to be there on time. The yellow letter itself does not have a set date for interview, it is just a general checklist of items for applicants to bring at the time of interview. For example, if in your n400 application you mention about arrests or traffic fines, in your yellow letter they will ask you to bring any documents related to the arrest/fine and proof that the matter has been settled. The thing is, some people get this Case File Review notice, some people don't, some people even get the yellow letter after getting their interview letter... its one of those inconsistencies about uscis that only uscis knows why :D... Nothing to sweat over, you r in queue for interview... we should all be getting our interview letters within a week or so in my opinion :dance:

I'm thinking it's just a waste of postage, since they could have sent that yellow letter as an insert to the actual interview letter.

Deleted my "interview letter received" date and interview date. Today I got a letter saying my interview had been descheduled :ranting: . You've got to be kidding me :crying: .

What in the world happened ??

I dont think I have ever heard of a deschedule.

Hopefully,things will be back on track for you soon. Keep the faith. :thumbs:

why they descheduled?? what was the reason?

We can wait for her answer, but I'm sure they don't provide nor do they have to... I would assume it would be scheduling conflict OR FBI name check issue?
