I meant your interview will determine or not if ALL of us April filers get our citizenship, since no one else got their interview letter yet, we're all relying on you  So no, try to refrain from running into the interview screaming #### THE USA, this place sucks etc etc etc. Although you can say it in Portuguese, I am sure the IO won't know what you mean if you smile while saying it.

Yea I'm guessing atleast a handful of the april filers should have atleast an interview letter by the time I go to mine (July 2)... If not a single person has it by then, well, we're in trouble cause thats a month and a half away :P

I think it would be great if it was determined on how well you do too! I am assuming my letter will be coming in sometime soon, I am actually glad it is taking a while though. I am going to have a baby the beginning of June and would like to get used to my new schedule and figure out life with baby before I have to go in for the interview, so I was hoping for a day more towards the end of July.

I am thinking you should probably not say F..the USA even in Portugese, I know I won't but maybe that's because in German even nice statements seem to sound a little rough to people who don't speak it!! Haha

Good luck though!

Got my BIO appointment today. It went very well, no surprises and no wait. The staff was also very cordial.

Ok I guess it will take two weeks before I get my Interview letter.

If it were to come in two weeks that would be great, it has been three weeks since I took my fingerprints and haven't received anything yet, don't get your hopes up for that timeframe!

lmao... i knew my bio appt seemed too easy, the slowest part was finding the place (took me 45 minutes to find it and i was not the only one) and getting in the door (the metal detector did not like my belt and watch and the xray machine did not like my pen in my purse lol)... but i was out of the building in about 10 minutes... serves me right for not even having to sit and wait 5 seconds. So they must feel robbed since i spent so little time w/ them. or maybe they like me to wait, my ROC went way past the 1 yr promised too...

I start week 6 now!

Call the customer service number at (800) 375-5283. I called them today before the mail came today to see if they had mailed anything. I had some "mail problems" last week so I wanted to make sure I didnt miss the Bio letter coming. The lady that spoke with me was very nice and informed me that they had mailed my appt notice on May 8. All she asked for was my A# to locate the info, along with my name and last name. She also told me that If I didnt receive the letter in the mail by tomorrow, I should call them to ask for a new one. Luckily it came today! My appt is on the 22nd at 12 pm, just 8 days away!

From my personal experience, I recommend that you call them to check if anything has been mailed. If it was mailed and it has been over 2 weeks, it might have been lost on its way.

GOOD LUCK!

Thanks Tpontirolli...I called the 800 number and an officer said that my bio letter was mailed recently and I should receive it soon. She said to call back if I dont have it by next week. Now, that's good news...thanks for the suggestion. Now, I hope my appt is not next week when I'm on vacation :)

Swatcat,

if your appointment is on a day you are on vacation try to take the letter to the office and do a walk-in, mine was also scheduled for a day when I was out of town. At first I sent the letter back, but then I saw here that some people just walked in at the office. I did that and they had my letter there and it was over with in a few minutes. I am sure it will be on a day when you are out of town, this is how things usually work out isn't it??! Haha, good luck to you!
