The Annoying Co-Worker Thread

The office that I work at, we share 3 printers with 8 people. Two of them have gone down, and the only one that is left while we wait to fix the other two is a very expensive color printer. Theresa is completely spazzing out because it is only supposed to be used for special projects etc for the PR team. She doens't like me printing out my reports. So, I find out this morning that she has been emailing everyone, to get them to tell me to stop printing off that printer. Her rationale? That i'm destroying a valuable resource for their department. But as they all told her, the reports and documents that I print off are highly sensitive, and it is just not possible. So she just came into my office and asked me to limit my printing. I can hear her sighing and geting all worked up just outside in her cubicle. I was printing only the sensitive documents that I am responsible for their integrity off this printer, but now, I think i'll print out a full color catalogue

So I ordered a calculator on Friday because I use one pretty much every single day... it was 4.00.

I took the day off yesterday to spend the day with my mum, so I wasn't here at all, but apparently the GM freaked out over it, asking why I even need a calculator. Nice to know he has NO IDEA what I do every single day.

My other calculator stopped working last week, well it works if you smack it on the desk real hard and give it a little shake, but come on... I am not going to sit there and do that every 2 minutes.

I am trying really hard to be all sunshine happy go lucky but it's becoming really difficult. If you're going to flip out about a 4.00 calculator... and yet let members not pay their $10,000 bills, well that just seems like you just may have your priorities out of order.

I went back to my workplace yesterday to see if my manager had given me any shifts. She didn't. So goodbye work and goodbye annoying co-workers.

LOL.. I have a super annoying co-worker!! She just started at our work about 3 months ago. Im a jeweller at a jewellery store, and we dont have commision. So it doesnt really matter who helps a customer. But Ill be helping someone and she ALWAYS jumps in with her 5 cents "how about these earrings, you should show them this watch"..Like #######?? Ive done this waaay longer than her, and Ive had additional schooling (almost a gemmologist). On top of all of that she tells me everyday that if I had just married a "nice canadian boy" I wouldnt be dealing with the stupid USA... Her son knows Im married and comes in and hits on me all the freaking time, which is REALLY awkward.

She talks constantly...about nothing!! You cant even have a conversation with her, as Im sure shes just talking to hear the sound of her own voice...

Anyway, off to work, another day with L... UGG.

Sometimes it bothers me that my boss can not do anything on her own. Like we started making gift bags for new members, it isn't rocket science but she insists that we do this together today... what do you want to start a little assembly line? I'll put the golf balls in and you put the mugs in... why does this job require two people?

Whenever she makes a change in the computer she also asks me to come over and walk her through it, I think that's so she can blame it on me though if anything goes wrong.

I'm an only child though, blame doesn't do anything for me... I got blamed for everything growing up.. even things I didn't do.

Computer illiterate people make baby jesus cry. Well, maybe not jesus, but they make me cry. Either from laughing uncontrolably, or out of sheer frustration. This lady who thinks she is a computer whiz, is borderline retarded. To make matters worse, she has a team of people who cover for her deficiencies. Now, she has been promoted to a supervisor. It wouldn't be so bad, but she is now the supervisor of a department that I want to transfer to. /sigh

On another note, I have been driving Teresa absolutely batsh!t crazy lately. She is a hoarder, and probably a bit crazy on some level. So of course, I move her stuff on and around her desk around

Yea she is totally computer illiterate... I think that should be deemed unacceptable in certain work places. I can only show someone the same thing so many times... it gets annoying. I have even made detailed instruction book complete with the lamest cheesiest cliparts you can find... still no workie.

LoL, where I work, there are several departments who have signs up asking people not to talk on their phones while they are at the counter. I can understand that, it is rude. Well, yesterday, I was picking up some financial documents and I had been in a cell service deadspot prior. Well, I'm about to sign off to take the documents and my phone makes two sounds letting me know i've got a text message. Well the lady behind the counter freaks out and tells me not to talk on the phone. So I tell her "Ummm, sorry, i'm not talking on the phone, it's in my pocket and it just beeped to notify me of a message". Well 5 seconds later, I get a text message from my wife.... The lady takes the documetns back and tells me "i asked you nicely to follow the rules and not talk on your phone, but you insist on breaking the rules." She refused to give me the papers back. This is a colleague. I had to go outside, call my wife for a good laugh and then go back with my phone off.
