Lol I wish more people worked like I do in the cubile environment. Ever since starting to work in one I've tried to be the office ninja, only heard when it's needed and invisible the rest of the time hahaha

I dunno, I guess I feel awkward going up to the guy and saying 'would you mind farting somewhere else?' And it doesn't exactly seem 'talk to his supervisor' worthy. I guess I will have to find a passive aggressive solution as you suggested. I don't think he heard either my disgusted laugh (and my 'Ok....?!') or my gagging cough (on alternating incidents).

That really sucks when people can't take a simple hint.

Tell me about it!! Sorry to say it but he's just your typical, computer programming dork. EVERY morning when he gets here, he has to call his wife to tell her he made it to the office. Was the voyage in wrought with vikings or men with guns that she was concerned for your safety? Like I say - DORK.

ROFLMAO I would definitely have trouble not laughing at that guy. Does he call his mommy after he gets off the phone with his wife? I really would think that this guy is in desperate need of some good old fashioned pranks. Maybe sign him up for numerous email newsletters, particularly the bizarre ones Some of those email lists take months and months of communication to get off of.

Everyone is out sick today so my boss only has me to bother and its just so much fun!

I'm sitting here talking to someone and she calls my phone and the person is standing right in front of me and she's asks: "What are they asking for? Do they want a members phone number?? What is she asking you"

You're obviously within ear shot because you heard her ask about a number... but it wasn't a phone number. So you're going to call me while the woman is standing there and ask questions about her? Awkward!

I sent the woman in to see my boss

So I finally have a moment to post about my annoying client.

As I mentioned earlier, they had a complete server failure, so I had to be in the office for a good 2 days straight.

The owner's son is now running the business, and running it into the ground.

Because of the economy, they aren't as busy as they once were, and the work they could possibly get isn't getting done because he is so lazy he won't call them back.

He is ADDICTED to Solitare. I have been asked by his employees to remove it from his computer, but they know that he would freak out and have a child like FIT if I did.

Oh, btw, he's 400lbs. Oh, I'm sorry, 396. How do I know his exact weight? It's posted on his facebook.

He's trying to lose 52lbs....by going to the gym and then going to IHOP.

He chews tobbacco, and will spit the pieces stuck to his lips on the floor...WHILE I WAS HAVING A MEETING WITH HIM, as well as spit into his cup, or empty bottle.

He picks his nose, and has been caught eating it, farts, picks his behind.

Swears at his employees, and is just plain Disgusting.

He is a man who is treated like a spoiled brat by his mom.

Oh, and they had to lay off people when the economy went to pot, and has cut back employee hours, blown through their LOC with the bank, pulled out 50,000 of his 401K to cover expenses, but he'll still charge to the company credit card his trips and food purchases, and still draws a $4000 paycheck every two weeks. Yes, that's right $4000.

I absolutely love going to work there, when he's not around as their office manager is a HOOT to be around (and how I know so much about their company).

There are even more stories I could tell you about that I've heard from their employees, but most are not appropriate to mention here

I know, right?? I'm a grown woman - I don't need to call my husband to tell him I made it to work! In fact if I did call him first thing like that, he'd think something was wrong! What a namby pamby!!

I've had my tape dispenser glued to my desk before -I should consider something similar. LOL Though there is a freaking security camera right above his desk so I'd be busted for sure. Actually I don't even know where that camera feeds into or who monitors it - but still. Too bad its not a smell cam or they could get the effects of his farts the same as me.

But that guy you described sounds MUCH worse. Ew!!

LoL, there is very little that you can do against a man who has NO shame. I doubt an outburst of "FFS, thats disgusting, can't you do that in the bathroom?" wouldn't even faze him.

Yes, yes they are.

In fact, one of them has an interview tomorrow, and as much as I like him, and he does the company well, I'm hoping he gets that job to get away.
