Yea and we are in the medical field so it takes a lot to shock us. She's outrageous. She's always adjusting her hair or reapplying lipstick and it doesn't help because she looks like Mr. Ed's sister with fake violet hair.

Do any of you ever wonder whether one of your co-workers has started an Annoying Co-Worker Thread and you're the topic of conversation?

Well, if you think you aren't annoying someone at work.... chances are you are "that guy/girl" at work.

OK, now you've really piqued my interest. I know how annoying IT clients/vendors can be, but now you've introduced "disgusting" into the mix which really makesm e wonder.

Heh, I know I have annoying habits.

I do my best to do everyone of them when the apple crunching starts.

Today it's too much. I left my cube and don't want to go back.

I think I'm going to have to cave and drop mucho $$$ on a good sound canceling pair of headphones.

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

My cube neighbor whistles to himself randomly while he works and also has no qualms about farting openly. He either thinks I am deaf or want to hear/smell his quacks.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if one of his quacks stunk so bad that the pregnant lady (me) had to barf and did it on him?

Seriously, in 'cubicle land', is it really acceptable social behavior just to fart at will? I'm just wondering.

I do it, but then again, I wait until he's being annoying.

It's only acceptable behavior if you accept it. I've had co-workers who do stuff like that and unless they are a supervisor, I've always said something. Sometimes, it's just more fun get your revenge in a passive aggressive manner

Is it really beyond the realm of possibilities to get your office space moved to another cube?

I have some annoying co workers. One of them I work very closely with. I hate when you ask a co worker a question or you call there name and they reply "WHAT" that to me is so annoying. I just was not raised like that. I have gotten into a conflict with a co worker about this, and how rude it is to reply to someone in that tone and in that matter. The only time I answer someone by "What" is when I'm mad at them.

When you love someone from the bottom of your heart; so much that you are willing to give your life for your loved one, time and distance takes a backseat. Only love prevails. And with love in your hearts you can overcome anything.

I dunno, I guess I feel awkward going up to the guy and saying 'would you mind farting somewhere else?' And it doesn't exactly seem 'talk to his supervisor' worthy. I guess I will have to find a passive aggressive solution as you suggested. I don't think he heard either my disgusted laugh (and my 'Ok....?!') or my gagging cough (on alternating incidents).

Especially since the doofus is on a diet...the Doritos should really send him around the bend.
