A comical change of events.......

Theresa got a new supervisor about 6 weeks ago and has spent the entire time trying to kiss his ####. All that came to a halt last night. The supervisor asked her to do something different for an event they are hosting. Her response was "No, I can't do that, we've always done it this way". That didn't go over too well. Watching her hover outside his office to try to start up conversations is just too funny. She's neglecting her job while trying to get back into his good graces and further digging her own grave. Ohh, I thought the world was coming to an end (for the next 18 months at least). I thought this supervisor bought into her act and thought she was a super employee.... now he sees the crazy nutjob she really is

Maybe it's because the ratio of people who post here and don't work is greater than the people who post here and DO work? Or at least.... the ratio of people who work and have time to post here is less than the ratio of people who work and DON'T have time to post here. Or maybe everyone's really happy with their co-workers. Perhaps we should start a Lovely Co-Worker Thread!

haha I actually don't post here any more because I don't want to get chewed out.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

I do have some annoying co workers but there are too many to list! Maybe not enough to rant about as I don't see them all on a daily basis, as some are casual workers or our shifts overlap and I may only see some of them once or twice through my shift pattern. But seriously, if I get asked ONE MORE TIME, "So when you are leaving?" "When's the wedding?" "When are you moving?" I just put in my 2 weeks notice so I am sure the word has spread, nothing can ever be kept quiet around that place!!!! And its sure going to get worse by the end of next week! Its kind of like the whole thing when we were going through the Visa process, the answer became short and sweet, because most of the time I got this look from people at work  , when I started talking about not being able to work..having to go for an interview in Vancouver...blah blah blah

Only joking! there is always time for the annoying co-workers thread.

Just so yall know, my boss was given a "new office" in a "different building" :D

Well I found out yesterday on my way out from the office that I made a bit of a fool of myself. I went to find out if my vacation time for Canada Day had been approved. I had explained to my supervisor what it was because he seemed quite perplexed that I would ask for it off. So I stopped by his office on the way out to verify that it had been approved when he laughed and told me that his parents celebrate Canada Day..... his mother is from the Toronto area.

I guess it's back to tormenting Theresa.

Well it was my year end evaluation today and I while I hear no one ever gets perfect, I think I'm pretty good at my job. I'm only a program assistant but I have been asked, imo, to go well beyond that.

So, I failed the document management portion of my evaluation. The reason? I don't file my boss' paperwork for her. I spent TWO days cleaning out her office because of all the ###### she has in there. I don't even know what is file worthy because there is just paper everywhere. So I guess I'm supposed to spend more time in her office going through her stuff.

I signed it and agreed. I didn't even care.

Danggg, You should of known better, next time file it right, right into the circular file on the side of the desk, where durning the night someone else come to make sure it is put away safely and in its propler place for safe keeping
