hello there friends,

need your help here pls. we are about to file our AOS this week and i am very confused if i have to file a separate I-485 for my oldest son who is 15 yrs. old when we arrived here. he is a derivative of my k1 visa so that makes him a k2 right? so the problem is when i read the guides in filing AOS, it says there that 14 yrs old and below need not pay biometrics which is included in the total amount of 1,010 dollars when i file my I-485 packet, so, do we pay for a separate fee for him or what? please help and enlighten.

another thing, if he can be included in my I-485 application, do i need to provide his own g325a? sorry but it is really confusing folks. thanks a lot to all who reply.

Separate application with separate fee... no two for ones when it comes to green cards. Over 14, each pay $1,010.

If you file all 4 at the same time: for you and for your 3 kids, the fee would be

YOU: $1010

15 yr old kid: $1010 (separate application forms separate g325a)

10 yr old kid: $600 (separate application forms, no need for g325a)

9 yr old kid: $600 (separate application forms, no need for g325a)

if you would choose to file for yourself first and then file for the kids afterwards, the fee would be $1010 for your 15 yr old and then $930 for each of your 2 younger kids.

no, the 15 year old is $1010 regardless of when filed.... price break for concurrent filings is only for those UNDER 14
