=================================================

Hi to all, Above highlighted are confusing me. I have checked the "reviews:embassy/uscis" before filing our I129F and there was only one consul listed there which is Abu Dhabi therefore we used this as our consul. It was further confirmed by other vj members actual experience (althou iam not sure which state they came from except for beejay) However, reading further this US Embassy at AD and US Consulate at Dubai clearly states that AD process non-immigrant visa for AD residents only and the rest should fall under US Dubai Consul, which if i based it on this instructions- i rightfully belong to US consul Dubai and not Abu Dhabi because iam a resident of the former. Whew :crying: I worry this will interfere with our papers especially we have been approve last March 24, 09 and now expecting our Packet 3 ...My SO said not to worry and wait till they send the packet 3 and directives maybe given there where i should have interview- AD or Dubai ? ...Meantime, i can't help it.

Anyone of you knows better or have other interpretation here? .... Maybe this is the new scheme?

Thank you co-vjs for reading. :star: ...btw, pls feel free to browse with the link provided.

I wondered myself are Abu Dhabi and Dubai different places? I think they are and if they are I guess you need to know exactly which one you need to deal with. :unsure:

both are states of uae ...being the abu dhabi as the capital....... given the instructions in their websites- that got me confused vs the vj's actual experience that i came to know here.

thank you for replying....bless u

Hi JSVP

Your k1 visa will be processed in Abu Dhabi even though you live in Dubai, as ours was. It is confusing when reading the websites but the thing you have to remember is that although a K1 is technically a non-immigrant visa it is processed as an immigrant visa which is why your interview will be in Abu Dhabi. Hope that clears things up. If you're still in doubt I would listen to your fiance and wait until the packet arrives and it will direct you where to go.

Best of luck to you.
