Uh oh, Canadian invasion AGAIN! Ewok said stop it Ashen.

this thread has turned into a canadian henhouse.

Yes he did say to stop. I'm pretty sure that comment about gloating was part of what he meant, eh?

they gave me the ninety day speech every time I called as well. 4 days...

Yeah but we got our NOA1 in April and have been waiting longer than you. Did you start a thread about your NVC out in "4 days" like you did "Approved and my NOA1 was May 04/09"? May want to cut back on the gloatability factor. :D

"4 day's hehehe", as in lol that she had only been working there for 4 days.

well.....in the spirit of gently changing the subject-I keep having the weirdest cravings!!!! I NEVER ate fast food before, but since March, I've eaten soooo much of it. Right now, all I can think about is curly fries and a bacon cheeseburger---oh-did I also mention that I was a vegetarian before I went to Senegal? Don't know what's going on, but I haven't been able to keep any weight on or get any sleep either. Figure I might as well take advantage of it and eat up while it lasts.

Watching "Friends" and eating junk food sounds like a great plan for my evening-not going to be able to keep indulging this way when my little runaholic fiance gets here and expects me to go running with him everyday :P and I HATE running. Ugh.

lol Well I just ate leftover pizza, and am in the midst of trying to unpack. Not so fun, especially when I lose stuff.... like the paper that had all the info that my mom gathered for me so that I could submit it online for my long form birth certificate. I really don't want to make her have to find it all again :(

So I've overcome my concerns about not having 3 years of tax returns to submit! I work for a lawyer and I got a really well-written letter from him, but man, is it hard to get a lawyer to put the terms of my employment in writing! I also went to the bank today and the teller is having the main branch write up a letter with the date my account opened, lifetime deposits, account status, current amounts in checking and savings and anything else they thought would be helpful. I got a really helpful teller fortunately. I figure with those two letters and 9 months of paystubs I should be golden!

Are all the other beneficiaries out there as happy as I am that we finally have something we can do to move this along again?

I am sure the interview will come soon. You made it through the hardest part of the whole process that is the NOA2. Just hang in there.

No... I'm still at NOA1 stage. And, as aforementioned, I can't find this birth cert info... :ranting: I was hoping to have it sent off before I left and was going to do it either tonight or tomorrow, but I moved last weekend, and have since lost it. At least then I could've felt like I was making progress.

Lol. I know, I really shouldn't complain. Another of our months filers from Canada as well found out her petition is stuck at CSC under FBI checks on her fiance. I keep praying for her that they move her petition along soon because I know its very hard on her. All good things come in time right? I just can't wait to be with my honey again, and I'm sure you all know the feeling :D

ashen sweety, is there any way your mom could email or fax it to you again? Deep breaths, at least on the plus side the BC's dont take forever to come, only about 2 weeks, and with how Montreal is scheduling you have a little bit of time even if you get your NOA2 while on your visit.

well even at 80 bucks, 200 on a dress is awesome! nice deal! When Wes got my engagement ring he bought a set (which is good cuz the band is a bit twisty so eitherwise we would have to get something made) so my ring is already done, but I need to find one for him. I want him to love it though so I'm letting him pick it out. I don't think it gives it any less meaning if he sees it before the wedding and this way he gets something he will want to wear every day.

I'm so jealous of all your guys's dress plans. We're just having a civil ceremony so no fancy dresses for me. I thought about it but I think it would look kind of silly walking into the state building wearing a wedding dres. Maybe I'll wear a nice green dress... but not a real green dress that's cruel.

They have cute little white kind of semi-formal dresses you can get too...sort of semi-wedding. You could always wear one of those to city hall!
