Sigh nothing but a measly bank statement in the mailbox today and still no touch since 5/5/09 on the website ... I am starting to get worried as all the others on VJ with the same dates as Jenelyn and I have been approved and most of April all together have been approved ...

Everyone keeps telling me soon soon ... I sure hope so ..

I officially hate weekends now as well ... even knowing a update on the USCIS website on the weekend is unlikely I still check multiple times a day ... and I practically hurt myself running to the mailbox as soon as the mail person leaves lol ... it has to be coming soon right? :clock: :clock: :clock:

How many times a day do you think I can call NVC without them getting annoyed???

This "Joey" lady told me today that calling before 90 days after the NOA2 is pretty futile. I asked her how long she had worked for the NVC and she said 4 days. I told her the average arrival is about 10 days and many times were much less than that. Mine is nearly three weeks. She said call back in a couple months. I laughed and said "talk to you tomorrow. Have a happy day Joey!"

That's too funny, they gave me the ninety day speech every time I called as well. 4 days... hehehe.

The woman I talked with asked me what kind of visa I was waiting on, and when I told her that I was waiting on a fiance visa she said, "oh, how sweet! Well, you must be really anxious. We technically have 90 days, but we usually get those within a few weeks, so just call back in a few days."

That's so funny! I worry about that, too. Also, I get depressed when they say, "It's here, but we're doing some additional processing on it, and there is no timeframe for that."

I think all petitions go through "additional processing," don't they? I bet you're not there for more than a few more days :)

Yeah but we got our NOA1 in April and have been waiting longer than you. Did you start a thread about your NVC out in "4 days" like you did "Approved and my NOA1 was May 04/09"? May want to cut back on the gloatability factor. :D

I think all petitions go through "additional processing," don't they?

So they say. It would be great just to know ours are there, eh?

I'm sure your day is coming.

I take J's comments as encouraging, btw. It's good to know that petitions are received and go out within a few days.

"Gloating" (as you know) means "To feel or express great, often malicious, pleasure or self-satisfaction", which is not what I think is happening here.
