Oh my god....I can't believe it. I hope so badly that everyone else here receives their NOA2 soon as well. I received no USCIS updates or e-mails-just the hard copy. I even went home around 1:00 on my lunch break and cried on the phone to Lamine when nothing was there. I just got home and decided to give it one more shot, and it was there.

I hope that you all receive your NOA2's soon!

Ken-your pictures are amazing, by the way! It must have been so wonderful to be together again. :) I'm sure you've mentioned this before, but was this the first time your mom met your fiancee?

It was awesome having us all together. Hang in there, get your rest and eat to build up your immune system. You'll need to be good and healthy when you see Lamine again. My Mother is doing much better now - Mom and I are going out tomorrow for my Birthday. Here's to my new family!! :dance:5614_1176782055223_1098240232_30525639_6453703_n.jpg

wow.. I go out of town for the weekend and a lot has happened! I won't comment on all that has happened, but most of all, OMG ATTAYA!!!! I'm SO happy that you got your NOA2!!! How exciting is THAT?!?! YAY!!! Now on to the fun part that zooms fast (from what I've heard). :) I hope that makes you feel a little better and your co-workers will now comment on 'wow! you look fantastic again!'... hehe

I hope the rest of us get ours soon! Although, I'll admit, I'm worried about getting mine too soon and being stuck in California without the ability to make any progress on our end  But I guess the next part is still just waiting for it to get forwarded here and there, so that's not so bad. The main thing I have to remember to do is for my fiance to get his support info, and I have to get the long version of my birth certificate and what not (I've already got the police certificate). I've started on my end, but he hasn't really on his. lol typical. Oh well. Yay for everybody's NOA2!

Thank you for all the congrats. Sorry to sound corny, but I really don't think I could have made it this far or could continue on with the process had it not been for you guys :luv:

ashenflowers-I was thinking the same thing--"oh my god, but I haven't translated Lamine's birth certificate yet," etc, etc. But really, from here on out WE control the process-more or less. Hopefully, at least. Aside from the interview.

I hope so badly that everyone else gets their approvals ASAP! I want to celebrate with all of you...Today it really sunk in that I was actually going to see Lamine again soon...Ugh. Can't believe it yet. Regardless of what happens from here on out, I will finally see his beautiful face again in a couple months!

Thank you all so much. Can't imagine what I would do without the support here.

I'm a May filer, but I live in Ontario and my fiance lives in California :P

He lives about 30min southeast of LA. He's more inland so not too close to the water, but the water is still close enough.
