Anyone else who has received their NOA2 not received an email yet? On USCIS it also says that the case is still pending yet we have the hardcopy saying otherwise?

Well mine didnt show up at all until the day the approved us, we got touched the next day, no email, no approval notice online...it still says pending. We got our NOA2 in the mail. I thought it was funny because they FINALLY put our case online, but couldnt update it to show it approved.

I'm just damn jealous of these quick April/May approvals and am hoping BIG time my ship's gonna come in! Aaarrrrrgh! LOL.

It IS quite difficult to see others approved before you do, when their NOA1 date is later than yours. I saw that, too. We waited almost 4 months for ours, thanks to the immigrant worker visa extension. Hopefully, yours goes much faster.

Yes, I would have to say I'm always a blubbering wreck at the airport, as well. The departure lounge is not as happy as the arrival lounge.

I can't wait for the next time I see Ian. We won't have to say goodbye after a week (9 days has been our max visit so far, thanks to work, etc.), and we'll be traveling together when we get on aircraft. :star:

Lol... Ian sounds the same way... he is counting weekends until we think he may be able to move. Our 10/10 date will only work if things work like clockwork from here on out. :) If we have to move it, we'll just jump ahead to near Thanksgiving, which is also fine.

Danu... I hope the embassy moves quickly on your petition. It looks promising.

I know minnew already has her visa in hand. :) (good planning!)

Wow...a lot has happened in the past few days. I've mostly been in the mountains the last few days, but it's good to be back to stalk my USCIS again. Congratulations to all those who have been approved! I was also really happy to see that a January filer was finally approved. God, I think it's frustrating when someone who has an NOA2 of 4 days after me gets approved, but I can't imagine how frustrating it had to be for them and the people in the 6+ months club.

Hope everyone is well and that today brings more NOA2's.

Go to "Guides" (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?autocom=custom&page=k1guide) and scroll down to the part where it says, "what to do when your NOA2 is approved).

If you're the USC, your SO needs your completed Affidavit of Support/supporting documentation (I-134). The form and instructions can be found on the USCIS.gov site, under Immigration Forms.

We've been discussing supporting documentation, and I believe the list has come down to the bank letter, the employer verification letter, several pay stubs and 3 years worth of tax statements/W-2's, just to be safe/prepared for adjustment of status. Anyone else have additions to that?

I also sent Ian our complete 129F filing, original boarding passes, an updated letter saying I still want to marry him, and additional emails/etc., to fill in the "we're still having a relationship" space between filing our petition and now.

CONGRATS, btw!

For those interested. I checked my case on the USCIS website about two times evey day for the past month. I had no touches at all before the approval. The touch was just that it was approved. Also i was set up for email alert and when I got to work today the email was there. Seems there is really no rhyme or reason to how they work as far as order, touches, emails etc.
