... I just wanted to join the April 2009 K-1 Filers...

... everytime I log on to the U.S. Immigration website to check our online status there has been no change just the same old message "received and pending". This is normal right? ...

First welcome to the April 2009 CSC K-1 filers thread!

Second, if you put in your number off the front page it will show that old "received and pending" for a long time, sometimes even after it is approved. Did you create a login for the USCIS site? You need that to see your "last updated" information (that will show touches). What is your last updated date?

Was checking out Igor's list (which groups members by the date their NOA1 says) and it shows NOA2 in the last week:

1 for April - Congrats qp24113!

58 Aprillers left to go but I think we will see more this week.

I hope you're right about the approvals, usagroom. Now that several April/May people have been approved, I'm getting anxious. I thought that when the approvals started rolling in, I would relax a little knowing that we are up soon. But it's just the opposite. I'm constantly checking uscis for a touch or an approval and updating igor's list every hour on the hour. Getting tired of the waiting game.

On a brighter note-my boss hosted some Chinese guests today, and I got to give them a tour of our town, and they gave me a beautiful gift (I'll try uploading pictures soon!) of a sort of wall hanging. I love working with people from all over the world :)

Hey, Just thought I would let you know that I checked the USCIS website today for the first time in a couple of weeks and was pretty shocked to see a touch :) Really happy to know that they havent lost our case!

Heres hoping for an approval soon for myself and the rest of you.

{April 7 2009 }-- Cheque cashed

{April 8 2009 }-- NOA1 issued

{April 12 2009 }-- NOA1 Received

{July 15 2009 }-- Touch!

{July 15 2009 }-- Touch was the NOA2!

{July 28 2009 }-- NVC Received Case

{Aug 10 2009 }-- Packet 3 sent

I know how you feel. I had my window open all day and just hit F5 every now and then to see if it was updated. :) Totally non-productive! I'm glad to see approvals start to roll in. I really think we're in the queue now just waiting for that last scan.

I have tomorrow off. Yay! (yes, I am gloating) :D

Ummm..... My fiance is with me here in Ireland at the minute however her parents have been keeping a watchful eye on her mailbox..... NOA2!!!

Her parents called us a few hours ago and we have been buzzing since....she goes back to America in 6 days so its going to make it a lot easier to say goodbye!

We received one touch in 3 months and that was for our NOA2 so anyone else who hasnt received a touch yet....dont worry (Like we were!) you could be next.

Anyway....good luck to everyone else! :)
