*Holy smokes! She filed in April!
"my NOA1 was May 04/09, Lucky Me!" is the title of that thread. Doesn't sound like an April NOA1er.

We have a few April filers here who received their NOA1 later than expected-ashenflowers I believe as well as Ken--and they are certainly in the April family :) Mine took a while to arrive as well. The title "April Filers" kind of leaves room for interpretation. He did file in April....

I know I certainly hope that they might let me slip in earlier because I filed early-mid April-not the end of April as my NOA1 indicates. In any case---It's good to see a non-expedited approval from someone after the month of March!

and usagroom---congrats on the touch!!!! I so hope that you and Lisa receive your approvals soon.

thank heavens for that, I dont' get to the computer much but when I do I like to see how the april folk are holding up & have been since we sent our forms in. I thought i was going to have to join a new group after all this time.

its getting exciting now! Congrats to all those with touches & Noa2's I Think i'll be the lucky last one out of this group to get my NOA2  but its still exciting seeing all u guys get things, good luck to every one

Planning is the fun part. We plan to keep things small, but even then, it seems like there is a lot to do. Have fun!

Well if CSC gets into the pattern that they had before, we should see some April approvals very soon. They were (before the stall) going in a pattern that seemed to be when they hit about 40-50% of the previous month (March in this case) that they would start some April ones. I'm hoping thats the case and that we see some more approvals soon!

Congrats on your NOA2!

As for the rest of the stuff, I think regardless of what month you are in, providing a helping hand and a listening ear is a great thing. I know we don't mind at all having people from other months posting on our thread for questions or congrats. We have a couple people who sent their package in March, but the NOA1 was delayed to April, so thats why I follow this thread. I'm just as excited for you guys to get your stuff as for the people who filed with me, and in the months before me (I'm active in the January and Feb boards as well and one of the Feb girls actually has a few of us March files on her tracking list :D). I also love hearing of your plans for your weddings, and I like seeing your posts about your girls usa, including the interesting ones about the attire you will be wearing for the traditional ceremony. I truely hope that your money comes through so that you do have a chance to visit them, it must be very hard for you to be away from them for so long. I know the almost 6 months are killing me, I can't imagine going as long as you have.

Ian has a theory that USCIS does things in batches. I'm betting that the May approvals we're seeing without expedites mean us earlier filers are on the way. :) We're thinking we should know something in 2 weeks.

Thanks for the trend information, Steph. It's not something I'd noticed. :)

No problem at all. I remember watching the list every day, trying to figure out something, anything that might help me figure out when we were going to get our stuff.

What is everyone up to this weekend? I got to talk to my future MIL on the webcam today. I've met her in person a few times, and it was good to see her again. She met my daughter, as well, and my daughter is excited about having a British grandma and visiting England. She can't wait! Also, she asked to see my dress, which I was excited to do, after having made Ian leave the room.

Good days... straight ahead, people.

:star:

Well, I bought my airline ticket to see my fiancee again Sept 4- 13. Will be my 5th trip in one year...excited about that...and excited to see some more approvals and hear of touches. But...does kinda hurt to see two approvals on May filers. Have a great weekend everybody.

Welcome! I received a touch on Friday, as well. I think you're right... they are working on our petitions (yay!)

Steph - Too funny... there really IS no pattern, is there? We were going with, "They're working on all the countries starting with a "k" sound..." until we saw the Bangladesh approval. I think it's just random in the stack they've picked up.

It's all happening! :)

For you Neil :D

Found a new dress yesterday that I really, really, really fell in love with. I'm going to try to get a picture of it up soon, but I can't find one online, so I'll have to figure out how to move the picutre from my sister's cell phone to the computer. Anyways-it's sooo pretty! It's got a really fun vintage feel to it and I love it! For the moment anyways--I'm so indecisive

Hope everyone is doing well. I hope that we all get our approvals soon, soon, soon.

Yup. Mine got approved by (we think) one of the same dudes who approved one of the Feb filer, because we both got 2 touches, the same 2 days, and then no updates and it showed up in the mail. the 50% thing seemed to be consistant until we hit the month of April, thats when CSC pretty much stopped work on the K1's for the H1B's so it screwed up the whole system that was going on and it was majorly disappointing to us. Watching half of february be approved within 60 dyas and then nothing.....blech.

I know this isn't on topic with the current conversation at all, but I feel like I've been haunting Igor's list and USCIS way too much in the past 24 hours, so I'm trying to distract myself with something that won't make me want to scream.

Neil--for you-

And here is the cake that I really like so far. I think it keeps up with the whole snowy mountain thing that will probably be going on. And I like that it's not like anything I've seen before.
