ashenflowers, you're going to have soooo much fun! I can't wait to go over wedding planning with my fiance. Sorry to hear that you're going to miss your brother leaving, though. A beach side ceremony sounds lovely, though :) Good luck getting all that stuff lined up while you're there.

Ian and Lisa, I'll hang out with you here waiting for NOA2's....

Nill-keep us updated on work drama!

wedding planning... if it was up to me we would just do JP and be done with it. We plan to go back after a bit, and do a full ceremony with her family, So her grandmother and her are in charge of all of that. I just hang out with her dad and try not to get in trouble. ha ha :whistle:

Well guys now I really am a cheater in the worst way :blush: . I am not deploying. Just got the official word today that my billet in Iraq was cancelled due to the draw down, and I am set to depart for Hawaii in late September. My commander said I need to talk to you about your deployment, and then left the office for about 3 hours. :wacko: I was dying to know about what, most of the time it is to say "you will be getting extended." When he told me I almost kissed the fool. I am so sick of that place! So now I will be in the middle of moving when I go see Nan. Good news for us, but our reason for expedite is kinda null and void at this point. So I feel like a super cheater. But I am so stoked right now I can't contain myself! Man we went from waiting another year and me sitting in the desert again, to seeing each other and being able to be together again sooner than we imagined. Nan and Hawaii here I come! :dance:

WHOOOO!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

I'm soooo happy for you! Look! Everything's falling into place for you, and hopefully we'll all be close behind. Good for you!

Yay! How exciting!

Thanks everyone! I knew we would be in Hawaii, but it as going to be after my tour was up. Yeah a little thai girl in AK would have been funny though. I think she would have killed me when it hit -50.

Thanks for that. I didn't notice we were 101 till you mentioned it. Maybe that will help me survive national meltdown day. (ok... maybe it's just personal meltdown day)
