I don't want to bring everyone down, but as a realistic person it's what I do.. LOL Depending on the speed of the consulate/embassy, there will still be a few months of the process left to go after we get our NOA2s... I think I have another 3 months, maybe up to 4 months to go after my NOA2 before actually getting the visa... :(

Are you going through MTL or VAN? Looks like MTL is about 2-3 months from them receiving your P3, VAN is 1-2.

ashenflowers-I'm sorry that it's such a long wait time for the interviews and everything! Even though Senegal is supposed to be a really tough embassy, I am lucky in the fact that wait times for interviews average between 1-2 weeks....Last I checked, the wait time for interviews for non-immigrant visas was five days

Ian and I looked @ stats for London the other day. It looks like 2 months after NOA2 (on average) for us.

usagroom-how long was it after you changed your address that you saw a touch or received an e-mail from CSC? I just changed my address yesterday (after my old apartment was evacuated due to mold  ) and am a little nervous that this will affect things....

MTL... I estimated to give it a month from NOA2 to get the P3, then 2-3 months for the interview.... so yeah.. it adds to an additional 3-4 months :( Oh well.. my 'dream' time is to get there at the start of January, so that's still within a reasonable time frame! Right?! Right?!?!? LOL ;)

When I logged into the USCIS site I saw the touch the next day (but you have to log in and see the touch). I got the email almost an hour after I made the changes online.

OMG! Touch! It could be the address change I sent in for Ian a month a go, but that was so cool!

"Touch Me" is a song by The Doors from their album The Soft Parade. Written by Robby Krieger, the riff is influenced by The Four Seasons "C'mon Marianne." It is notable for its extensive usage of brass and string instruments to accent Jim Morrison's vocals, including the measures of crooning, (including a powerful solo by featured saxophonist Curtis Amy), and was one of the most popular Doors songs.

It was released as a single in December 1968. The song reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 in Cashbox Top 100 in early 1969 (the band's third American number-one single). The single also did well elsewhere, peaking at #1 in the Canadian singles chart and at #10 in the Australian singles chart.

Well lets see...California says they're processing in about 5 months and they are "on target" so that means...if we filed in April it means that they can approve in September, and then about 2 months from that we should be done right? Cause it takes roughly 2 months for the consolate to get off their butts to do things...I donno.....maybe i'm wrong on that one....or just wishful thinking!!!

This is the part that varies depending on the consulate:

92 Avg. Days between Consulate (in China) Receiving Information from NVC and Actual Interview

The British one may be faster.
