Ken you crack me up!

I type stuff in the British spelling sometimes and catch myself....at work they tease me about that! Check/Cheque, Center/Centre, etc....lol.....

Sorry, USAGroom's "Girly" comment pissed me off, that's all. I originally planned to wait until my interview date to also save money, but my Mother has been very depressed since my Father passed away 2 months ago. She needs someplace to go where she feels welcome and wanted. I suggested Colombia as a long-shot, and she is really looking forward to meeting Leidys' family.

That will be good for her. Has she been to Colombia before?

When life comes at you it, it comes fast and with a vengeance... I was riding a high for a while. Now that is over.

Nan is having trouble getting her passport... due in part to her mother, and the fact that she hates me... and my truck has a blown motor. awesome.

Nill, I'm sure that everything will work out :) She'll have her passport in no time and you'll be together again before you know it. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Sorry about your truck too. When your mind is occupied with visa stuff, every other little thing that goes wrong can be hard to take.

However....CSC is finally approving people again--and we're rolling into march!

Thanks for the finger crossing attaya_girl. This situation is looking bleak right now... But sometimes things happen for a reason. I just wish I knew the reason.

I think in another month we may see some April filer NOA2's.

Hey usagroom! where is our daily waiting game picture post? Has your bickering with Ken gotten you sidetracked? Get back to work!

Hey usagroom! where is our daily waiting game picture post?
Playing the waiting game...

I mentioned before that occasionally I record songs for my girls and this one is very special. I wrote it after our very first video chat all those years ago and the visual part of the recording is a snippet of her during that first time (I knew that if I could make her laugh so much that we had a great chance at a relationship). We had made up an acronym to easily type our overwhelming feelings of being apart. So instead of saying all the mushy things we often just type and say LMHK. Love You, Miss You, Hug you, Kiss You. The words are simple and the tune is short and to the point...

"Morning to Noon and Noon to Night

I see the sun rise and leave my sight

With every moon, I swoon

LMHK...

Whether together, holding close

On the phone or on web host

Sentimental

LMHK..."

Her name is Hua, hence the HUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2B3rWRHBoQY

LMHK
notice the tiny kiss she gives me at the end.

Mom has been all over. Europe, Africa, Mexico, Canada, Alaska, China, but never to South America. I hope she likes it. :hehe:

I was thinking about our little group here while I was pulling the cylinder head off my motor today  , and Nan called me to see what I was up to, and it was hard for me to explain to here over the phone, what exactly I was doing... She knows the truck is broken, but thats about it. And I wondered how everyone else here communicates with their SO... in terms of language that is... Nan and I use about a 60/40 split of English/Thai respectively, with me learning more Thai and Nan learning more english over time  .

I know we have Ken with your SO from columbia. Are you fluent in spanish?

usagroom do you speak chinese?

attaya_girl does your SO speak english fluently?

I think lisa has no problem in this department...

Who else am I forgetting here?
