Hello all the fellow April filers ... I can't believe it is almost a year ago already !!!

I am happy to see that pretty much everyone has finished with the visa part of the journey. To those still waiting I really feel for you sad.gif ... our prayers go out to you ! Star and EOTR!

So whats everyone's news now? Where are you all at with AOS? We got transferred to CSC so that usually means a good thing ( Hopefully no interview, thus saving a day of vacation for me YAY )

Other than waiting to hear from CSC ... we are expecting our first baby in July .. found out it is a boy smile.gif and also in the process of buying out first home together.

I hope to hop online a little more and am excited to hear how everyone is doing and what you all are up to with your loved one now !

Nigel's work permit is ordered today and interview is April 29th! Woohoo!

We are still stuck at the interview stage, waiting for the court case to finish. Believe it or not, the Consulate is WAITING FOR US!! "Thank you for your email. We can postpone your fiancee's visa interview and application again per your request. When she is ready to move forward and attend the interview, please notify us 2 months in advance for interview scheduling. If you intend to postpone further, please contact us each year to keep her case active." Unbelievable. We hope to have the interview this summer.

Tomorrow is the two year anniversary of the day we got engaged. Still waiting for the court to finish. It is remarkable that we have the fortitude to keep going and be so happy with our love. Watch, we will get denied after all this. Saw that Star is still in AP.

Well as of the 29th of April we are officially done this immigration process. Start to finish it took 12 months of me crabbing about the whole process, missing the fiance, all around process was very stressful but I can honestly say I'd do it again....so here's my last post in this April k1 thread, it was a great ride.

I want to tell you that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Hang in there and you will not get denied. My fiance got his visa on Friday. I was hanging around in the AP threads waiting with everybody else. I never forgot all of you. But, now I am out of that dark place called AP. So, many good things have also happened on this forum. Wow!!! Everybody is moving along.

Congrats to everyone,

I've been so court up with looking for work I can't remember the last time I popped in here. Well I'm now an American resident. Woohoo, which means i get to stay with my honey bunny. I found a job and will start working next week, so now I have a lil time to just relax & enjoy life with no stress of paper work lol. The interview went very smoothly except for me trying nervously so push 1000s of needless pages of information on the poor guy lol. he was so nice a patent with me. My husband sat quietly & helped me to be calm, he is a gem.

Just want to thank you all for your help through the process & wish you all the very best with your loved ones.

End of the road, I know I'll log in here soon & see you writing about yr up coming interview & well done Star you must be so happy.

I look forward to hearing about everyone's adventures in the future, I'm sure we'll all be here again with a lot more frequency in 2 years when we all have to lift our conditions

still have not withdrawn the app, we have been passing with flying colors until all this court biz... we are at the end of the road (how long we dawdle there is the question)

Finished as in visa app withdrawn and decided that if we will ever happen then I must go live in China. This is the end of my visa journey for bringing her here to the USA.

I want to thank everyone here on this thread for all the happy and frustrating times we shared. And all the waaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiittttttiiiiinnng. I hope you are all adjusting well with your spouses. Same as I will never forget our visa try, I won't forget this thread and all of you here.

Sorry to hear your Visa App ended. It was a journey that I am happy to say was one for the better. Leidys and I are very happy and I cannot imagine life without her. What is your plan, and does that include possibly moving to China??
