Chaz, Congrats on the interview, & well I guess u can let him have one more christmas with his family then U can have him all to yourself for all the rest of the christmas's for ever! :D & what a wonderful way to start the new year!

Allie, not long now! u must be so excited, I can't wait to see yr wedding pics!

Maverick, counting down the day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Star, sorry to hear about yr delay, hope yr able to get yr decree very soon.

EOTR, man that sucks big time! I'm really hoping it will end soon.

I'm trying to study & learn stuff, this being a house wife thing & not being allowed to work is all very new to me, I"m trying to enjoy being home all day because I know once I'm working I'll curse myself for not making the most of it, but i do stress about getting a job, but I have to keep telling myself to be patient.

Hope all are well & happy xxxx

I don't know what is going on still and another day passes.
Found out a little more. The judge, in an effort to get this out of her court gave a suggested financial judgement. If both parties accept it then it is over. I asked my girl "is the judgement okay?" She said "not at all" but she may accept it just to move on. However she does not think the other family will accept, they are so greedy that they will want more. It makes her physically sick what that family is doing to her daughter's rightful inheritance and I worry about her health. But she is fighting it for her daughter, and you know how that goes with many Chinese women. They will literally die and kill to protect. She will meet with the lawyer (more $$) and the judge (more $$) today and tomorrow.

WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!! congratulations, man I thought the flight from england to San Diego was long, how is the flight from England to Alaska???? all worth it tho' i'm sure. Australia has a giant Ice burg heading towards it, totally unheard of for us, but i'm sure that would be quite normal for Alaska???

Good Luck :D

Gareth and Emily: visa-in-hand 12/10/09 :)

The flight from England usually takes about 22-26 hours if you go through the east coast. However, I found a really good deal on a student travel site for a ticket through Reykjavik that will get him into Seattle in 11 hours, a 4 hour layover then just a quick 4 hr flight up to alaska! So I guess that's still 19 hours, but oh well! Unless something goes wrong, he will be coming over in mid February.

Right now waiting for the religious divorce decree I shouldh have it by this weekend, or early next week. Also, Indian consulate frequently do AP on most male beneficiaries. So, that is another thing I have to wait for. I called DOS and they notified me what was going on. I am happy we have DOS to talk to. :) The nice lady at DOS said that 221g's are common and once you provide what they want you should be ok.
