Bad news I got 221g :crying: for religious divorce decree now.

Ok, so do you have plans for getting it? How long will it take to get, and what are the procedures for getting it to the embassy?

How did it go otherwise?

You're almost done! :star:

6 officers interviewed him and grilled him like anything. Started asking things that would not normally ask. He managed to remain calm and positive. Seriously, some of these questions should not even be asked at a interview. But at the end they told him as long as he gets what they want he should be fine.

I can get the religious decree in about 1 to 2 weeks from india.

Congrats Chaz!! Its always good to hear some good news.

Star - It's odd some of the info they ask for, isn't it? You may want to add into to the embassy page on VJ, if you can, so others won't get stuck. At least you can get the paperwork back quickly.

Chaz! Congrats! :)

After looking at how long it takes the Passport to come back with the Visa in it, and the expense of last minute flights, I'm pretty sure we won't get him here for Christmas... but it will be a nice present for Christmas this year!

I can see it now....

" Merry Christmas.

Have you considered a Christmas Day flight?

I hear flying on actual holidays is cheaper than flying before them.

Oh, Star, I'm so sorry. I can't imagine what you must be feeling. I'm so, so, so very sorry, but at least it wasn't a denial. I know that every day apart feels like you're falling apart, but you're almost there. Almost. You're going to be together so, so soon. Hang in there just a little while longer. You can do this. It's so worth it. Just hang on.

Chaz and Riggs, congratulations on your interview date! You'll do wonderfully!

EOTR-I can't begin to comprehend how difficult your journey has been, but I hope so badly that you will get to see your girls soon. You deserve it.

Lisa-if I haven't said so yet---CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so happy for you! After all the waiting, it's over! You two are beautiful together!

I hope that you are all doing well. Lamine is doing his English homework next to me right now. I know I can't relate to many of you who have had a more difficult journey than I, but remember that one day it will all be over, and you will be with your fiance(e) again. It's beyond worth it.

Star, so sorry you have to wait longer. At least it will only take a couple of weeks to get that divorce decree -- and you don't need to go to India again for it I hope? Really hope you get the visa very soon!

Maybe tomorrow the court will finish with my girl's case. Seems like the case never ends. I know as soon as it does, I will be asking the consulate for the interview and getting a ticket to China.

I hope so! Do you think it will be tomorrow?
