We applied for the subject access that should arrive by the 20th, hopefully it will have things on it plus he's gonna have to go to Derbyshire and search their databases, I called them but they have nothing on him. I'm severely p.o'd but it just means we dont have to go to London again and he has to get on the ball.

I cant seem to function about now, all emotional, weepy, headache, fumbling at stuff walking around in a haze, kind of a good thing I took off work...this would have been ####### having to deal with this there. I know its only a setback, have to wait for his subject access thing we sent away for to come in, it had a deadline of 40 days to receive it so that should be the 20th of this month at the latest. Not sure what court house to go to being his is shut down, so thats a wild goose chase, I called the big one near him and they have no records of him, just his dad's old traffic ticket..go figure. Just a basket case over here anyways... I know I have read of people just sending their stuff in and a couple weeks later (3-5 days ya right) and they get their visa. So..........we'll see.

Allie, I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how frustrated you must be feeling, but just try to keep in mind that by the 20th, this will all hopefully be over. I'm sorry (F) ,but congratulations on the pending approval :)

I found this on the British Expats forum. If they can't find info, then they need to provide a letter saying so.

"The information is exactly as reported earlier in the post - apply for the MOC at the convicting court with as many details of the offense/offense that can be recalled. The fee around 40 UK Pounds is typical. Ask the court to stamp or emboss the document as the US authorities are keen on this 'authentication' - typical MOC's often look like a photocopy.

If the information cannot be found (usually because inaccurate details have been provided - the information never 'lapses'), then the Court will provide a letter to this effect."

Hmmm....so maybe if he trotts over to Derbyshire court and requests things, maybe they can write out a letter saying they have nothing. I called them twice today and they only found his dad's old speeding ticket. Go figure. Maybe I need to contact Nigel's member of parliament (MP) in his area and make them find the damn thing! Jeezzzzzzzz

Was he 18? I thought you said he was 17? I would be really happy now though, the toughest part is over and all you have to do is get a paper for them.

Allie I can relate to your frustrations. I am sure you will get those documents, and once they are submitted both of you will be together. That is going to be the best news!

Frustrations? I think I can empathize. We had a spat about the ####### we have to deal with and have not talked for two days... longest ever since we became boy/girlfriend 2+ years ago. We are both at our ends and we both just want to be together. Others can say they have waited longer but have they waited as long after the P3 is approved and the P4 date interview is just waiting there to be assigned? Add in we are 7K miles apart and she cannot legally travel here to see me. Yeah, frustrations.
