What happens after the NOA2? See this link... http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/fo...and_packets.htm Should be pretty generic for everyone

or get it from your Consulate

Yeah usagroom, I have been silently following another thread called sawasdee 3 and this was in there for me... http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/root/pdfs/k_i...ckage_may09.pdf and is essentially the packet 3 that Nan will receive. I am already working on getting my I-134 together with associated paperwork.

I called Nan after I opened the letter, and she was half asleep as it was 2:30am her time... She mumbled mai koa jai... Which basically means I don't understand what you're saying... I am pretty sure a native english speaker would have had a hard time trying to figure out what I was saying I was soo excited... After a few minutes I told her to go back to sleep because I was sure she had no idea what I was talking about. She called me back after 10 minutes and was more excited than I was... Hahaha I am trying to go back in August (I think that is when she will get an interview) so I can be there with her, and hopefully fly back together. We have been together for 2 years now, with us only being able to see each other every couple months, and when work would take me there. It is hard to believe that we may actually be able to be together after this is all said and done. Coming home from work and seeing a smile on her face everyday is going to be worth every last cent, and all the heartache we have been through together.

I almost got out of the military and would have finished up in August had I not stayed in... Nan told me she knew I loved what I did so I should stay in and we would try for a k-1, and see what would happen. Funny how things work out, I would have been moving to thailand in August instead of her moving here.

It has only been 2 days since we last saw each other, but these next two months are going to be the longest we have spent apart ever.

I really hope everyone else in our April group get fast responses! Nan says she is praying for all of you!

I'll say it again, just because Nill got a quick response doesn't mean everyone else in the April group will. Expedited cases take priority over every case.

Don't be concerned if you don't get a response for a few more months still, keep an eye on August.

Yes, exactly... much congratulations to them, but theirs was a special, expedited case, and won't reflect at all on what we can expect for regular cases. I doubt any of us will be hearing much for a little while.

I feel like the black sheep now.... We had planned on waiting until August alone to get our NOA 2. Now I do feel like a cheater... Sorry guys, I know seeing me get approved so quickly must suck. I will still be here for morale support if that counts for anything.

No you didn't cheat anything... just wish I would have known it was an expedited one before I got myself believing that CSC was actually working on things again....

That is the part that is hard... that they are not even doing anything on new ones... :(

04/16/2009 - I-129F Mailed to CSC

04/17/2009 - Recieved at 10:53 AM

04/30/2009 - NOA1

05/04/2009 - Check shows up at local bank

05/05/2009 - Last updated

06/01/2009 - Updated address online... really hated to do this but moved to a new house

06/04/2009 - Date on address change letter

06/05/2009 - Last updated

07/23/2009 - NOA2

07/28/2009 - NOA2 in mail

08/10/2009 - Left NVC for Kyiv (Never got anything in the mail - told via phone call)

08/25/2009 - Called call center and scheduled interview for September 3rd.

08/29/2009 - Find letter from NVC was sent to the address on the application not the new one.

09/03/2009 - Interview day results - she needs a UK police report - never stayed there for 6 months but with combined trips was over 10 months.

09/16/2009 - turned in UK Police Certificate

09/18/2009 - Picked up visa and sealed env. from Fedex office after 1800.

09/19.2009 - We are together in Minnesota - 5 months and a couple days later

Don't be silly! We are all soooo happy for you! It's wonderful that you are going to be able to be with your fiancee soon! Even though it seems like forever now, we'll all be following relatively soon. Congratulations again and I hope that the rest of your journey goes smoothly and quickly.
