POE Minneapolis = piece of cake

The packet was reviewed by the immigration officer, they gave him the low-down on the getting married within 90 days bit, and off he went. No questions asked at all. :star:

Congratulations!!!! I'm so, so, so, so happy for you! I'm so happy that you two are finally together again! Congratulations! Woo-hoo!!!!!:dance::dance:

Endoftheroad-I'm so sorry for all of this hell that the court systems over there are putting you through. Don't give up! It's not going to be six years. I sure hope that you're going to see them soon.

IAN IS IN THE USA!!! WELCOME BROTHER!

Thanks attaya, There is no way I'm giving up even if I have to wait six years. My boss is going to let me know this week if they are going to give me the money so I can go to China next week. xfingers_crossedx

Ian says, "awww". I had to laugh this morning, because every 3 minutes he says, "I live in America now." :D He is currently downloading US maps to his satnav. Very cool.

Fingers crossed for your trip to China!!

Allie.... Thinking about you and sending ALL SORTS of good vibes your way. Can't wait to hear your news tomorrow morning! :D

I cannot remember now what I posted last, I think about Maarten (my fiance) being on the plane to San Francisco. POE was very easy. They looked at the documents in the envelope and told to get married within 90 days.

On Friday, we married in San Francisco City Hall. We are planning the wedding with family and friends in April, so we did not plan anything big now. We had a photographer to take photos of us in the streets of San Francisco. It was lots of fun, but we don't have any photos yet.

Here is our photo just before the ceremony, not very good quality (taken with a phone). I will show some more photos later.

Allie, good luck with the interview. I was also sooo nervous the night before. I almost didn't sleep until the interview was over about 6 am in the morning. I'm sure everything will be fine.

Look at how cute you guys are!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement....i have no reason to be so silly, i just read too much thats what it is. I should have been reading up the legal codes, (which I am now)which eases my mind on his matter...i should have been a attorney instead of working in a dang call centre...lol. I saved my ex-husband from some legal stuff years ago from reading the Arizona revised statutes.......sooo, ok i'm a nerd....

Just ask the consulate to extend it. The one in China told us to let them know when we wanted the interview.

I'm not sure what timezone she lives in, but it's probably like 5 or 6 am over there

I could do chocolate that early, but not booze.
