I emailed the consulate and told them that DOS told me that the consulate has recieved our K-1 and have mailed out packet 3 and I wanted to confirm if it was ok for my fiance to drop off packet 3 in person. This was stated in my email.

They respond and tell me our records indicate that we have not recieved your responce to packet 3. They did not even address my question. So, I replied with another friendly email telling them thank you for their responce, but I just want to confirm if its ok for my fiance to deliver packet 3 in person.

What part of my email did they not understand? Maybe it is just an automated email they use and email them to all applicants. It's nice to have a responce right away, but really wish they would address the question.

Everything is happy and moving forward here as we wait for the court to finish. We are so happy in love and we understand that this time is transitional. Years together stand in front of us. We are preparing.

That's the right mindset! Hard to keep in that mindset constantly in this process, but I'm crossing my fingers and saying extra prayers for you guys.

Emily and Gareth-congrats on the new interview date! You guys can still be together by Thanksgiving, hopefully.

Hope everyone is doing well. Think of you guys often.
