Ok, so after careful consideration and reading some posts regarding others interviewing at the Mumbai Consulate. It seems to be that if you deliver packet 3 in person to the consulate they will give you interview date the same day. So, my fiance is going to go next week and do that. I hope it all goes well, as Mumbai is not close by. It's like a drive from Cali to Las Vegas, NV but just imagine the roads to be a bit more horrible.

Well, it's worth it to get the interview date that day instead of later.

You guys will probably be together for Christmas at this rate!

Emily and Gareth-I'm so sorry about the delay. I hope everything gets figured out soon.

Starlight-that's good news on getting the interview date soon! Hope he has a safe trip!

To everyone still waiting-I hope you're doing well (F)

Well, we figured out a couple things as far as the wedding goes (since it's in 6 days....). There's a beautiful botanical garden near my parents' house, and they agreed to let us use it for the cost of an entrance fee ($1.50/per person) since there are less than 20 people. I used to study under a pastry chef, and she asked to do the cake for us as a gift to us. Now, all I need is a dress, someone to marry us, someone to take pictures, and figure out how to do my hair.

I did a wedding video 12 months ago for a friend, and I'd tape your wedding if you and Lamine were closer.

Leidys is still waiting for her K-1 Visa to be delivered to her home in Barranquilla. It should arrive this week. We have planned for her to fly to be with me on Monday, November 23rd. That's quite a ways off, yet. But, here's photos from a fun weekend I spent with my friend Victor in a local desert park. Hope everyone enjoys these great nature photos!

The best part of traveling into the desert is that you can view nature right in front of you.

Funny how every US consulate does things a bit differently, isn't it? Good luck!

That is a great deal for the wedding location, and the botanical garden wedding will be beautiful. I wish you were close by and I can refer you to some vendors I know here. Since, you are going to have an outdoor wedding maybe you can find a dress that will go perfect with that type of location. For me the dress is going to be the toughest part. For the hair maybe you can scan through some magazines and get an idea, or better yet just google it. Do they have david's bridal there? That would be a one shop wedding place since you only have six days. I am so happy for you things are moving on so smoothly.

Thanks! Yes, it is strange how every consulate does things differently. Some are flexible and some are not.

I know when my fiance has his interview I am going to be more nervous then he is going to be. Lisa I don't know how your handling this, but more power to you. I usually hate interviews and especially something as important as this.

Is it November yet?

I want my fiance to get here faster.

I wonder when Montreal will do something again. No one in the Canadian section's heard anything for about a week or so, and way too many people are due for interviews.
