Congrats again on getting the interview date, Lisa!!!!

James and Meagan-I can NOT believe that they lost your P3  That BS. Is that seriously common?

Ken-congrats again to you and Leidys for getting the visa :) I may have missed this (Lamine is patiently waiting for me to get done typing this), but are guys traveling back to the USA together?

Can't linger too long right now, but I hope you are all doing well :)

I am back home in Southern Ca., and Leidys is in Barranquilla now. Her Birthday is next month, and 1 week after, she plans on catching a plane and us finally being together.

She has to wait until Tue. or Wed. to receive her Passport w/attached K-1 visa so that we know things are good to go.

You send it to your fiance and he will bring it to the interview with him.

Thanks Rhiann that is what I thought, but my attorney is confused in what form I filed for.. She is thinking it must be a K-3. Why did I use an attorney again? I don't know, I found more information on this site then I could ever gotten from any attorney.

And Bogota looks amazing!

Ok, so I have been doing some research on the affidavit of support. It seems like you have two options. You can send it to NVC and they will send it directly to the consulate, or I can give it to my fiance to take with him. I guess my attorney's office do know what they are talking about :).

Hello everyone,

I have had a busy week with work and all so I haven't been online other than to check email and pay a few bills.

I skimmed over the past few days of the thread sounds like everyone is moving along with the process!

Congrats Ian and Lisa !!!!!! So awesome and so happy for you two!

Star - I wouldn't worry to much about being told about being in AP ... they told me the same thing the first day I called, the funny thing is our petition was only in NVC for 1 day ... so basically it is just their standard response until it leaves NVC.

Attaya - Sounds like you and Lamine are enjoying your life together !! Today Jenelyn and I will be doing the same .. I leave in about a hour or so to drive to the airport to meet and pick her up ... finally together again .. so excited ! Do you have a wedding date set yet Attaya?

Ken - Congrats man ... Happy for you two and happy the interview was a success ! Sounds like in a little over a month you two will be together here in the States as well !

Endoftheroad- How are things shaping up for you all? Things starting to settle down with her X's family so you can get your interview when they schedule it? I hope so ... you guys have been waiting a long time to see each other in person ... good luck !

Well all, take care, I have the next 5 days off work and I pick her up today. I don't think I will be online much for the next 5 days. So I wish you all the best of luck for the rest of the process and I am excited to see the updates when I get on next !

They understand me though, they know how hard it is for me. So I listen and talk.......... waaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiitttttiiiiiinnnnngggggg.

That first house is neat.

It's so "art like/designer looking".

I havn't seen many pictures of Columbia, so this is nice.

Thanks. It is just a crazy thing in China. People are so hungry, hundreds of millions. Everything is a fight when money is involved. My girls are well educated and are dealing with a family that is not. So these stupid people will say anything to get money.

Mindless and reasonless waiting.

It is the same in London. I wouldn't send anything to the NVC. :)

EOTR: Hang in there. What a pain!

Hello, the rest of you! Hope you're having a good (and productive) weekend.

For any of you who know Minnew, her wedding day was today (in Nebraska), and I think this was the first time ever it has dumped 2 - 5" of snow in Nebraska this early in October.

When I asked God to hurry things up to winter, I wasn't really asking for winter to show up in early October. :)
