All right, guys. This is it. I leave in the morning and will spend the next two days on a plane-but it'll all be worth it because I'll be heading toward Lamine. Please keep your fingers crossed and say a couple prayers for us on the 8th. I'm so terrified of the interview. I'll try to update as soon as possible, but the power outages are really bad in Dakar around this time of year, so no guarantee on posting while I'm in Senegal.

Good luck to all of you!

Lisa and Allie-I sooooo hope that you get out of AP SOON!!!!!

ashenflowers-I'm so sorry you have to leave soon, but I hope you enjoy your week with your fiance.

endoftheroad and SS-good luck on the next steps of the process! Hope it's speedy.

St.louis-have fun on your trip!!!

Starlight-good luck on responding to the RFE. Hope you get your approval soon!

Ken-not sure where you are on the process, but hope you're doing well!

I probably forgot someone, but I hope that you all have a wonderful, productive couple of weeks

Have a safe and wonderful journey! You will be in our prayers and I have no doubt that the Lamine's interview will be a success.. Hopefully, you will have some good flight entertainment. Best of luck!! If all goes well I will have my approval by the time you return :).

Oh, did anybody hear from Jauque? I think she already had her interview, hope it went well.

We still don't know anything about interview or medical dates yet. For now, I am just working long hours before my trip, so at least time goes fast.

You folks are so lucky. No one from China can come to the USA except in a travel group usually. Us USA citizens can go to China though......... thousands of dollars............... stinks. Getting her parents here for the wedding is pretty much a no go too. I won't go political on you all but that is what it is. BAH!

moving right along

I sent you a msg attaya, as you know, but again I say good luck!!! :)

According to my roommate I received my Packet 3 today... unfortunately I can't do anything about it until I get back on Saturday, then it's the long weekend, so I won't be able to send it out until next Tuesday... a bit frustrating, since it's basically sitting in limbo out of my grasp for a week... but I know I shouldn't complain. I REALLY shouldn't complain since I'm able to visit my fiance right now (though it's a financial hardship on us as well)... It came earlier than I expected (hence the timing of this trip.. I really wasn't expecting much progress until September)... so it's still going ok. I just wish I could send it back right away... I have everything they need now! Oh well. I'm just anxious to find out when I can have my interview. I'm still hoping for November.

Great news!

It is! Thanks! I have to remember that when I started this process, I originally expected that I wouldn't even get the NOA2 until September, so I'm still ahead of the game!
